There are mosquitos in the surroundings & my husband was awake bcs of the dawn prayer. Just bring mosquito spray & earplugs and you will be fine.

Staying here was the right choice. The staff are friendly & helpful. The breakfast was always prepared with care. I love how green the surrounding is. There are a lot of things to do in the nearby villages as well. In general, it was a relaxing stay.

The parking lot is relatively small, if you go back to the hotel a little late at night, you will run out of place to park your car.

The location is superb, right in the center of the City of Borobudur. The room is very big. The bed also big, enough for two adults per bed. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room service is quick and good.

I had originally booked a room with a "garden view", that didn't in fact have a garden view. It had a view of a neighbouring empty plot. I upgraded to one of the newer rooms, which was an extra 200,000 per night. I was disappointed that the room I booked was misrepresented on the listing, but I didn't regret hanging out in a nice fresh newly built bedroom.

Comfortable stay in picturesque setting. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was strong, the aircon worked well. I had a room on the first floor with a lovely view of the rice fields over the balcony. The staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast, although standard, was delicious - fresh fruit, nasi goreng, and coffee. The location was perfect for visiting the Temple, as well as scootering around the villages and rice fields. After an unpleasant 4 days in Jogja, getting back to nature at the Lotus 2 was just perfect.

There was a little building work going on but when that’s finished it will be perfect.

Lovely peaceful spot among the rice fields, frequented by birds but close to Temple and restaurants. Staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. Couple of sunrise outings arranged. Breakfasts were good.

I could only charge my phone in the bathroom because the outlet near the bed would not hold. I’d prefer the bedding and towels to be washed without perfumed soaps.

I love the location and everyone that was there. The staff felt like my family. They helped me in so many ways and made me feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. The air con worked great, the drying rack in the room was helpful since rainy season, the breakfast and tea was yummy, and the quiet garden area was a treat. The location was also walking distance to many temples. I felt safe walking everywhere as a solo woman. Total bonus.

The sink had some draining problems and it’s a bit close to a mosque that woke us up every night around 4/4.30am, but it was not a major problem for us.

The location is very good, walking distance to the temple and near all the restaurants. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a very cool view of the fields in front of us. Recommended!

Just the lumpy pillow and the call to prayer (nearby mosque) at 5am which was loud. But that is found throughout Java and you just have to get used to it!

Lotus 2 guest house was fabulous. So beautiful, I loved the design of the separate mini-houses and the cool airy interiors. The bed was comfortable (my pillow was lumpy - could do with a new one there) and the temperature perfect. The tables with a view of the field for breakfast. Very atmospheric. Nuri and others were friendly, welcoming and accommodation. Our breakfast was excellent. We ate simple, local (cheap) dinner which we enjoyed. Don’t miss Borobodur temple!!! But book it early.

Unfortunately the bathroom was very dissapointing. Well below standard and really needs some work. Is a shame because I loved everything else about this place.

Excellent location, close walk to town & temple etc. lots of warung and restaurants nearby. I loved the serene outlook onto rice fields and the beautiful pond surrounded by plants. Was very peaceful, an escape from the busyness of town. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, great to talk to, very interesting guy. I loved staying here.

The shower took some getting used to. Did not really bother us at all.

The host was super friendly and speakes english very well. The view from the stay was stunning and very relaxing. Location was good, close to the borubudur but not too noisy. There were some nice restaurants and food stalls nearby. Rooms were extremely big and quite cool in the heat. The entire home was large and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend staying here.

There was construction on site. They offered a room on the second floor instead of a cabin to alleviate the inconvenience. It was more basic but the bed was comfortable and it had AC

Nuri was very helpful in getting us acquainted with the area, finding what we need, becoming a guide for a morning tour of tofu, pottery and batik

It's a budget lodging, though I feel some updates are needed. Towels are worn, bed creaky. Everything works, including ac, though, and no mosquitoes despite a lush backyard!

Host, service, and location are all excellent. After finding out we want haircuts and nail care. Owner called around and even drove us to the salon. Very fair price for airport transfers. We appreciate the people that own and run this place. They did Indonesian hospitality proud.

No hooks in the room to hang cloths, also implying no hangers in room as well. No towel bar to hang towel.

Great location amongst padi fields. Walkable to the bus station. Minimart a few minutes away. Lots of eateries around. A short stroll to Borobudur Temple. Simple good size room and toilet with strong aircon. Dated TV set with only Indonesian channels. Honestly cannot expect too much for the price I paid. Simple breakfast provided. Tours to Selo griyo and the villages are great, thanks to Nuri and Singga (I think that is his name.) Staff is very polite and friendly. My room is on the side of the main road. Traffic noise can be loud. For light sleeper, pls pay more for quieter rooms at the back facing the padi fields.

The WC was not comfortable, it was placed in a step that was too high.

The host was friendly and gave us several informations about the city and a Wellcome coffee. Our room was at the first floor, it was a large room and we could use the external space to chill just outside the room, there were chairs and a coffee table. We had breakfast in the beautiful backyard. The hotel is in the city center and it was very easy to get to Borobudur temple in the morning.
