It was my first time staying in a hostel in my life :) And I’m so glad I chose Lokal Bali Hostel for my first experience. (I’m currently staying in a hostel in Ubud, and I really miss Lokal Bali Hostel 😞) First of all, I walked to the hostel from the airport — the location is amazing! The staff are friendly and understanding people, and the place is super clean. If I ever go to Kuta again, I will definitely stay here once more. I highly recommend it to everyone. 🥳❤️🫶🏻

The location is great, within 20 min walking distance to the Airport. I arrived too early before check-in, but the nice staff allowed me to leave my bag and use the swimming pool to cool down. Beds in the female dorm are comfy, spacious, and the curtains make it a more private space. The room and bathroom were clean. The hostel has one owner of a cafe and spa next door, I went for a smoothie bowl at the cafe and for a foot massage at the spa, it was amazing and good value.

Drinking water/bottle refilling dispenser was missing, which remained a common feature in all other places during my trip.

The overall ambiance and the administration team was commendable. The staff was supportive and cooperative. Location was good as well.

The room and the bathrooms could be cleaner. They smell a bit.

I loved how the room is, the locker for the bag is inside, accessible from the bed. Has lamp and plug, good internet. Room is only 4 people with 2 showers inside. Left my bag in their storage for some days, was perfect. They even have a restaurant/cafe in front. Nicely decorated, has a pool and a nice space outside.

The inside condition of the kettle (coffee service station) : I think the owner should invest in a new kettle *just an idea*. The non-stop vibration/vibrating sound just on the other side of the wall in the mixed dorm (ground floor): it's the same noise one can expect to find when sleeping next to the swimming pool filter pump/motor.

Especially the communal shower and toilets could use some tender loving care :) they are a bit sad.

I repeatedly keep using this hostel if I need to stay close to the airport. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the location is great (like 10mins to the airport), they have female dorms with only 4 beds, so it's pretty goods, curtains on the beds offers privacy and you get a large locker. The pool and a restaurant where you can get yummy breakfast and lunch is a great bonus!

Can be a bit tricky to find. Not a very social hostel, more of a quick stop place.

The rooms are very spacious and have a lot of space for luggage. Good location if you're leaving for the airport or arriving.
