The two owners were absolutely amazing! Anything you could need. They had it ready for you. Dorms and bathrooms were very clean. Great night market right out front.

Gabriel & Diana are among the most pleasant and helpful hosts in any hostels I've been to so far in Indonesia. Roooms are clean & tidy. Whole building is pretty new and they are ready to help with anything and informations about Malang and so on. I loved that atmosphere, feeling like a safe place to be and recommend it to everyone. Just a great pleasure to meet these kinds of people while traveling. Thanks❣️

Everything! It was clean, comfortable and nice. Everything was just perfect. The location was nice, owners so so sweet and caring and wifi was great in case you wanna work. I booked the bromo tour with them and it was also great.

Nothing! Everything was absolutely perfect

the amazing staff were the highlight of my stay. They were very kind, accommodating and exceptionally lovely. I originally booked for one night and couldn’t help but stay 2! One of the 2 sisters that own it, Gabriel made me feel at home. She made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She explained the city to me and gave me recommendations of where to go. She offered to give me lifts to the places and was ever so kind to pick me up in the middle of the night when I arrived! I have never met a kinder person with the most amazing hostel. The hostel itself offers a unique and beautiful vibe for Malang. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone biding Malang or around the area. Even if you’re not interested in the city, the hostel is enough to make you want to stay! I can’t wait to return :) thank you very much for accommodating me!

It was perfect! The location was very convenient, the hostel is new, clean and clever designed, but my favorite part were definitely the owners! My flight got cancelled and they helped me so much with that. They also sent us a list of things to do, brought us everywhere we wanted and even took us on a free tour in a temple! You can definitely tell that this place is run by women ;)

Everything was incredible. The rooms were perfect and the attention to detail on the beds was amazing as they had everything a traveler could need - outlets, lamp, towel rack, hooks, and even cards about activities! Both the hosts were so welcoming, and gave excellent recommendations for food and local activities. It was clear they loved showing travelers around their city. Definitely the best place to stay in Malang and one of my favorite hostel experiences ever!

One of the best hostel i've ever stayed. Great value for the price. Perfect location. And there is a night market every night from 6.30-9.30pm outside the hostel. Being your earplugs or asked the host,as it is located in a main street. Little Malang Hostel is a brand new hostel. There is a kitchen and utensils you can use in the reception (breakfast is included from 6am) but the host would prepare it ahead of time for those who want to have breakfast before leaving for a tour or early checkout, you just have to let her know. In the fourth floor, there is a washing machine and linen line you could use to wash and dry clothes. A little balcony and an area where you can rest if you arrive early (perfect for watching tv or just chilling). The beds are so comfy. Gabriela, the host, is so lovely and helpful, she took me to the train station herself to book ticket when I can do it online😊 and a free tour around the city with her motorbike. Gabriela is the best host, so generous, kind and great knowledge about the history of Java, she also gave me great recommendations for food and places to go. She even offer me a free taste of traditional foods! Not only I enjoyed my stay but I found a sister in her! Thanks again Gabriela, I had a great time at the hostel. I will stay there again if I ever come back to Malang.

The best hostel i’ve ever stayed. Great value for the price. Perfect location, it is located at the chinatown, convenient stores around, arab street just around the corner, there is a buddhist temple 6 min walk, you can book tours there, motorbikes and cars as well. Little Malang Hostel is a brand new hostel and you can actually see it, spotless, amenities (shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer) for the shower and toilets, clean showers/toilets, there is a kitchen (breakfast is included) laundry room, a little balcony, living room (perfect for watching tv or just chilling). The beds are so comfy, and loved that every bed has 2 pillows, one soft and one harder, that’s such a great detail cause you can choose between the two of them. Gabriela, the host, is so lovely and helpful, she took me on her motorbike to a money exchanger, she gave me also a free tour to a beautiful buddhist temple, explaining me all the history of the temple and buddhism, was really interesting. Gabriela is the best host, so generous, kind and great knowledge about the story of Java, she also gave me great recommendations for good and places to go. Thanks again Gabriela, had a great time at the hostel, so sad i couldn’t stayed longer 💓

As someone who has stayed in 100+ hostels worldwide, I can't recommend Little Malang Hostel enough! Gabrielle, the host, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, making sure you will have the best stay possible in Malang. Some highlights of this accommodation include: - Central location, walking distance to the city's main attractions - Comfortable, brand new beds - Cleanliness in all areas, including bathroom and showers - Fast wifi - Individual locker, lamp, curtain and electric plug for each bed - Free breakfast - Facilities such as laundry and snacks available for a cheap price If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Malang with great quality/price ratio, look no further :)

The owners of the hostel were absolutely lovely, I learned a lot about the history of malang, especially on the tour of malang that I booked from the hostel. The self service snacks, breakfast and laundry service were very convenient and the owners even prepared the breakfast early for me on my last day before I was picked up.

We were in the triple room, and it was quiet dark because they don‘t have a window. It was also quiet small to fit all the backpacks there.

The staff was really nice and helpful and they showed us the market for free and also gave us a traditional desert. The breakfast was simple but good. You can buy all necesseties in the hostel. It was clean. The location is good.
