Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We stayed in the room overlooking the rice fields and the views were simply stunning. The room was lovely and very spacious with a balcony and outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery. The rice fields tour was a highlight of our trip to Lombok and Yan, our guide, was so informative about the local area, fruits and crops. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

United KingdomI had to leave :(
I had the most wonderful stay here. The surrounding scenery was out of this world, and I got the best night’s sleep of my entire three-week stay in Indonesia. It’s so peaceful! Nuri is an excellent host and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay. I highly recommend doing the tours you can book with them — you won’t forget the experience.

VietnamNot having time to stay longer!
I loved everything about my staff here. Proactive communication right from booking and lots of information provided. They organised a pick up from the port and pointed me in the right direction to get laundry done. The hotel is in a beautiful location and I thoroughly enjoyed the two trips I did (rice field walk and craft villages). The food is absolutely amazing - best I have eaten so far in my trip!! Would definitely recommend a visit here.

United KingdomAbsolutely magical location. We stayed in the room overlooking the rice fields and walking up to that view was so special. Les Rizieres is a lovely relaxed accommodation with beautiful, comfortable rooms and excellent staff. Highly recommend the Tetebatu tour (rice fields, waterfall, monkey forest). It exceeded our expectations and was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Lombok.

AustraliaThe property is lovely, beautiful and you can tell Kathy & Tomas have put a lot of thought into every detail of staying in the beautiful Les Rizieres. The rooms are large, airy, have large windows to let in the sunlight and you are able to open the windows to let in the breeze with a good fan to keep you cool as well. The rooms are decorated nicely and give a very tranquil vibe. The bedding reminded me of being home - so soft and comfy with a nice pillows and linens. The staff are all incredible! Chef, the kitchen team, reception and the drivers are all amazing, helpful and kind people. When we were dropped off to the port, our driver Donny even stayed with us for a few moments and helped us avoid a boat scam! What a champ. Our hosts recommended to do a local tour as well and we had the best day with driver Denny exploring the local artisan arts and crafts. During the tour, we were able to eat a meal with locals - one of the highlights of our trip. They also have the sweetest pups on the property - Lulu & Minnie. The restaurant is also incredible - the team curate a menu with what is available locally and it is very affordable. We enjoyed some crepes, homemade bread, chippies, lumpia, swordfish steaks with purple mash potato and chicken/veggie satay with rice and spicy Lombok chillies. We wish we had stayed longer than just 2 nights to relax longer, try more food and see more of the area, but until next time. Thank you again Les Rizieres team!

FranceWould have loved a pool to cool down and would have liked to spend more time talking to the owners about their beautiful environment that they have created. Unfortunately it was only on check out that we were spoken to but luckily their wonderful staff members made up for this because it is them who truly make this place special.
Beautiful setting and view. Chilled atmosphere, peaceful and relaxing. Food was outstanding. Helped organise a 20km local bike tour with Yan which was the highlight. He knew the local area like the back of his hand. Room was perfectly furnished

We fell in love with Les Rizieres right from the start. From our room as well as the upper lounge deck you have an amazing, calming view of a beautiful rice field. The room was perfectly clean, stylish and made up with lots of consideration and love for details. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very professional, friendly, kind and managed to make us feel at home immediately. Moreover we had an excellent tour with one local staff member who showed us the authentic Tetebatu. We truly loved our stay and hope to stay there again!

SingaporeEverything was great.
Wonderful accommodation nestled in the middle of the verdant tetebatu rice fields. Owners are warm and unobtrusive, staff are also great. Our spacious room had a balcony-patio which was right beside a rice field, with an attached outdoor bathroom, and was simply but tastefully furnished. Beds were really comfortable, and we slept extremely well. Rented a motorbike from them for a couple of days and it worked great. Property has at least two really friendly dogs, and we only wish we had more time to hang out with them! We really enjoyed our time here, and would definitely stay again if we ever return.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! So peaceful in the heart of the rice paddies but still with the village around you. The owners and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! They run a great day tour of the local area. We had Jan as our guide who was fantastic and the owners dog Minnie was with us the whole way, keeping guard as we swam in the waterfall. It was a highlight of our trip!
