It is very difficult to find public transportation, and there are not many food options. The Wi-Fi signal is poor, especially at night.

It was a quiet place, even too quiet. The place had beautiful scenery and a strong natural atmosphere. And Maya is very helpful. I Love You Maya.

The WiFi didn’t reach my room, but we told the staff and they fixed it quickly by putting a WiFi extender outside our room. After that, the WiFi was fast and reliable. It’s a remote place, perfect if you want to get away from civilisation, but you’re in the jungle, and the animals are loud. If you want to have lunch there’s a hotel nearby that serves some of the most amazing food I’ve ever tried, but it closes at 4 pm. For dinner, you have to be prepared, as we couldn’t find anywhere nearby and it’s completely dark outside. The shower was cold but don’t let this to put you off, maybe just confirm the staff that you will have hot water before coming here, so maybe they can fix it. Be prepared for the insects! But hey, you’re in Bali, baby.

The staff was super warm and friendly. They made us feel really welcome and invited us to join them by the fire they have every night to warm up in the chilly nights and talk.

It's more like camping than a hotel, be sure to bring food and a scooter is very necessary. There are no services like laundry or food or information or a driver and it's a long way from town. Still loved our stay though, relaxing and a visual feast.

It is not as quiet as I thought. The neighbors across the valley held about 100 roosters and boy did they make noise all day! Do not expect western cleanliness, bed sheets had quite a few stains. No food on site and limited availability nearby. You must have a scooter!

The garden itself was very well kept, one of the guys was working on it everyday! All of the staff, friends and family were very friendly and open. The viewing platform is spectacular when the weather plays along. The bungalow I upgraded too was much nicer than the SMALL double room, do yourself a favor and book a bungalow as the double room is tiny and one of them doesn’t even have a window. The owners were very helpful when I asked to upgrade to a bungalow and immediately prepared the space for me at 6 pm.

For people with light sleep I would advise against as there are a big group of chickens somewhere close by being extremely loud day and night. It takes away from what would be a peaceful environment

Big and very comfy room with an amazing view on the valley and mountains. Very quiet place so perfect to rest. The garden is so beautiful, they will set a fire for you at night. Staff very nice. They found us a driver to our next destination. Small authentic Balinese village with smiling and welcoming people but no scooter rental and it was not easy to find one. Finally a young guy from the staff has a friend who was ok to rent his.

There’s sometimes a bit of karaoke in the evening, but it usually ends by 10 p.m., so it doesn’t disturb the peace — if anything, it adds a bit of charm and character to the place.

I had a truly wonderful stay here. Waking up in the middle of the mountains was such a peaceful and grounding experience. The atmosphere is calm, far from the busyness, and makes you feel instantly at home. The staff is absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Maya — your kindness and care made such a difference. You always went above and beyond, whether it was helping me find a driver, recommending local spots, or simply being there when needed. I even had the chance to learn some cooking with Maya, which was a beautiful and unexpected highlight. If you're looking for a quiet, welcoming stay with heartfelt hospitality, I absolutely recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back.

We booked two of the more expensive rooms at Lembah Cinta Mayungan for 2 nights at almost 2 million IDR (about 130 US$) almost 2 weeks prior to arrival. The amount was paid by credit card to booking.com 2 days before arrival. We went there at 1:00 pm on 30 March as agreed and found the place totally deserted except 2 rather large, constantly barking dogs. Then we walked around and found all rooms totally unprepared but full of flies. When a staff eventually arrived he was totally unaware of our reservation until we showed him our booking confirmation. We told him that it was clearly impossible to stay there because they were absolutely not ready to receive guest and therefore had to cancel. The staff contacted the owner who said that he would contact booking.com and would let us know. We never got any info from him. We had to find and stay in another Hotel nearby, which we had to pay, of course. The same day we reported the case to booking.com customer service! We asked them to withhold the payment to the property and send us a refund. Almost 2 weeks later we only got the information: “Your issue has been escalated and you will receive an update as soon as possible.” Well, until now we spent quite a bit of money for nothing and had only trouble.

NOTHING - we could not even stay there but had payed prior to arrival - bad mistake!

It's in the middle of nowhere but the views are amazing. I didn't had a scooter which complicated a little bit because no drivers in the area. If you stay here go eat at Desa Baturiti restaurant 5 min walking.

The location is beautiful but quite a way away from town. However they have a local driver available to take you into Baturiti to see all the best spots! The bed was nice and every part of the property is even more stunning than the pictures. Madé and Komang were absolutely amazing hosts!

The bathrooms could use a good scrub. There is nothing the staff can do about the noise the chicken and roosters of the valley make but it is an incredible amount of noise all night. I had brought ear plugs which my kids used, which helped them. I was fine but sleep through anything. Also, my kids were not enamoured with the small ants in the bed but to be honest, I don't think they can do much about that. The staff did immediately go out and buy a spray for them. All good. Staff is great

The location and views are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time sitting on the porch and just hanging there.

This was the filthiest place I ever stayed in my life. We stayed in bungalow for 1 night - $25. 1. Everything was dirty, from linens to curtains. 2. No sink in the bathroom, had brush my teeth in the shower 😂 3. No window in the bathroom, always something flying or crawling there. Handle was broken on bathroom door as well. 4. I lifted a sheet and was shocked, no one clean there, probably, for ages. 5. From 3am roosters and turkeys across the canyon are so loud that you won’t be able to sleep. It’s like living next to the stadium, but the game starts every day at 3am. 6. Nothing to eat or drink there, closest restaurant is 15 min away. Have no idea why they have such a high rating. I will attached pictures and video.

The best part were the extremely kind hosts who took me fruit picking and to a nearby waterfall, as a solo traveller I really appreciated this experience 🙏🏻 I loved getting away from the tourist crowd and having this authentic experience in Bali. Nothing it was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. You do need a motorbike to get around but that’s to be expected and we did need to ride through valleys to cross the river so there are some hills which some people will love and others may not like as much as they can be steep. We went a different way heading to Ubud which wasn’t as steep as the way in from Lovina

Would definitely recommend this place to those who want to get away from everything. It has the most beautiful gardens and views of the neighbouring valley. It’s very tranquil and the staff were very attentive. Everything was as it was advertised and is perfect for those that want to be away from towns as it’s in a country area. It does get cold at night because of the location but they have a camp fire which we didn’t use as we were tired but the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was nice and warm so didn’t feel the cold. The room and bathroom facilities were very clean and wifi was available in the main communal area
