Breakfast. Management people need to pay more attention to detail especiially when very busy. Wobbly tables not acceptable, serious shortage of teaspoons [rectified after complaint], plates mid size also short supply. Don't just get new fashionable food items - make sure what you have is the right quality - always. Only one coffee machine, rectified to 2 new ones BUT design terrible cannot see the choices text without magnify and or torch!!!! Unbelievable that a quality hotel like KSVBH would invest in such. Each day out of 14 had to point to silly things not up to standard. Supposed to be relaxation - not ticking a checklist daily! Many time repeat guest. Too many new travellers allowing young children to misbehave and charge around and generally be a niuisance. Many of your more experienced guests would not like this. They may think twice about a stay next time.

The Gardens in which the Rooms are set are very refreshing even on hot days. The large swimming pool is great. The staff in the restaurant do their very best even when busy. Food quality appearance and taste good. Housekeeping and Gardening staff are very good and to be congratulated. The GRO [Guest Relations Officer] needs special mention she excelled at her job and was very knowledgable.

Convenient location, easy walking distance to shops, restaurant and beach. Slept really well in the very comfortable and clean rooms. Enjoyed having a Nespresso machine in the room for a quick coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The choice of music around the bar and pool area was at times repetetiv and (earnestly) horrible, but above all far too loud. The traffic and number of people wherever you go (as in most of our destinations on this trip and not specifically related to this hotel) earnestly make us consider this being our last asian vacation.

Very nice pool, but crowded. However, with the large beach across the street this did not matter much. The employees were all very friendly, helpful and customer-oriented. Very good food at reasonable prices. Nice breakfast buffet!

The only issue is a lack of sun beds. The hotel seemed full and the sun beds were full every day.

As much as we love the fact the hotel is so quiet even though it is in such a busy location, it is a little dated, especially the bathrooms. But it is such great value for money this is a very minor criticism.

We have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times now over the last 10 or so years. Which means we love staying here. It is a traditional Balinese style hotel, not too big, with beautiful gardens and wonderful staff. It’s in a great location just across the road from the beach.

It wasn’t the property but the restaurant staff. Weren’t helpful and everyone had their own rules about the option I paid for which was free lunch/dinner. Same 4 food options with a juice everyday. Hard when you stay a week and none of the options were kid friendly.

It was clean, had what we needed and hotel staff were lovely and very accommodating.

I liked the resort gardens and surrounds especially! The resort was in a great location. Its close to all the action (beach across the road, restaurants, shops) The rooms were comfortable, clean, nicely furbished, and quiet. The restaurant was nice, beautiful surrounds. Food (we only had pizza and breakfast) and cocktails were good. We were given a cold drink on arrival and fruit in our room. We were also provided with filtered water.

The beachfront location, pool, restaurant, reception and rooms were all fantastic! Newly renovated decor in rooms and beautiful gardens inside - it’s hard to believe you are in the middle of Kuta!.
