Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWhat an amazing place Didik has created! Located in a wonderful setting with Rinjani Volcano behind and the sea below, Kurni's cabin is spectacular. The rooms are super clean, the garden is gorgeous, and the food that Didik cooks, with vegetables right from the garden, is delicious. Highly recommend a stay a Kurni's Cabin

NetherlandsI can't imagine people would not like something here.
Didik's place is a small paradise in the middle of a small village Sapit. Surrounded by beautiful fields, growing all sorts of vegetables and fruits, and beautiful views of Rinjani and all other mountains around. His two houses (cottages) have a very comfortable bed and everything that you need. We enjoyed a lovely dinner made by Didik and his mum and talked about local culture and things to do around his place. We did a very nice hike to Kondo with him, with two kids of 9 en 11 and it was challenging but definitely worth it. The next day with had a walk with him around the village and the fields (4 km). He told us everything about what people grow and in which season, about the locals and their habbits. Simply loved it.

FrancePerfect home stay in Sapit! The cabin is very well arranged, and the breakfast oh my god Didik our host is a chef and makes amazing pancakes :) He’s also been eager to share with us the best places around and make everything easier, better. Shout out to Ewa as well in that matter! Best homestay in Lombok, by truly human and passionate people.

Switzerland-
Kurnis Cabin is the best place on Lombok that we stayed at. It is located in a smaller, authentic village sorrounded by mountains and rice terraces. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with everything you need. But the best was the Host. Didik is so energetic and fulfilled all of our wishes. Whether you want to relax, immerse yourself into the culture or go on a variety of hikes, THIS is the place to stay! He offers many experiences, also including Mt. Rinjani. As we did not have enough time. We did a beautiful day hike to Mt Kondok. The next day we did a walk around the village and Didik showed us the daily life of local people. He and his friend Ewa have a coffee company that supports the community. Ewa explained us the complicated process from plant to a cup of coffee. Definitely try the honey variety. Lastly the food that Didik cooks for breakfast and for dinner is absolutely delicious. Two of the best meals we‘ve eaten in Indonesia. All in all we do not have a single complaint. Next time we come to Lombok, I wouldnt mind staying here a week.

GermanyA simple but truly beautiful and relaxing place! Didik, the host, is amazing – both in personality and service. He’s also a great cook and an exceptional tour guide with deep knowledge of Lombok and all the activities you can do in the area. What I really appreciated is that he cares about sustainability and even grows his own vegetables in his garden. He also makes excellent coffee – we even went on a little coffee tour with him! A warm, genuine experience that made us feel truly welcome and connected to the place.

He and his friend also took us on a day trip to Bukit Kondo and Bukit Selong. Food and drinks were very fresh and delicious. You should be aware that during the day/night you hear the prayers of the mosques around here.

Great location, lovely host! Wonderful views over ricefields with a vibrant pretty garden. The coffee was roasted by Didak, so good! The food was fresh and tasty with generous portions, we highly recommend this place. We arrived late and Didak made us a super tasty meal on request, it was so nice after a long day of riding in the rain. Didak was super welcoming, informative and such a lovely host. I had a wonderful stay at this rustic cabin in Lombok! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, not to mention very knowledgeable as a Rinjani guide. He shared so much about the area and local culture, making the experience truly enriching. I was especially impressed by his commitment to sustainable tourism, supporting the local community in a meaningful way. SwedenWhat a nice little gem in Sapit. The homestay is newly built, really cozy, has a small garden, a balcony and the whole place felt like a little oasis. In the morning Didik is preparing breakfast and freshly grinded and brewed coffee for you. You can also book tours with him to explore the area. If you like coffee, Sapit is a place to stay for a couple of days. It has coffee plantations, roasteries and excellent coffee! I can 100% recommend Kurni's cabin, Didik is an amazing host, his place felt like a second home.

Germany-
I had a wonderful stay at this lovely location. Everything was very clean, and the view over the rice fields was beautiful. Watching the sunrise in the morning was a great way to start the day. The kitchen and communal area were well-designed and nice places to relax. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The breakfast and coffee were fresh and delicious, with ingredients from their own garden. The place was decorated with a lot of care. Yes, you can hear the mosque, but that’s part of staying in a Muslim community and should be respected - it’s part of the culture! Didik is a great host—helpful but not overbearing. I felt very comfortable here and would highly recommend it.

Didik is a great host and a very nice person, I really enjoyed my stay, thanks Didik! It's nice to walk through the rice fields next to the property and the view is spectacular - the sea on one side and Mt Rinjani on the other.
