United StatesThe room was dark. There was not a lot of natural sunlight. The hotel was far away from the quiet beach however it was easy to take an Uber.
We stayed one night. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good lots of choices.

Rooms were huge and the 2 rooms we had were right in front of pool. Also, dining room was easy access from the rooms. I believe the hotel was once a 5star but needs to be upgraded a little to make it 5star again but apart from that we enjoyed our stay and staff are excellent.

We LOVED our stay at Kupu Kupu! The hotel is gorgeous and our rooftop villa was right outside the main pool, which our kids utilised a lot. Breakfast is fantastic with many options and both the Tandoor and Italian restaurants downstairs are top-notch. We did not expect the free golf buggy shuttle service to the beach, that was a lovely surprise, as well as the free transfer to the airport. Highlight was definitely the Bamboo Spa by L’Occitane, absolutely stunning and I had a beautiful foot massage and facial, highly recommend! All the staff are amazing, we would definitely visit again :)

Can not fault this hotel. Amazing staff, superb - you name it!!!! My Mum has to stayed at the hotel for a day whilst myself and my children went to Nusa Penida island for a day. The staff were so very kind and looked after my Mum very well. I'm so grateful for their hospitality. The location is great as it is just around the corner from our favourite Jimbaran seafood! Breakfast was good too, plenty of choices.

Kupu Kupu Jimbaran was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had such an authentic Balinese feel—it felt like stepping into a little oasis. The staff were wonderful—genuinely warm, attentive, and always happy to help. The infinity pool? Stunning. I could’ve floated there all day pretending I had no emails to return. Only one tiny surprise: no toilet spray! For a place that nails every other detail so well, I half expected a gold-plated one! Still, a fantastic stay and I’d return in a heartbeat.

Staff were incredibly attentive. Our room was upgraded and decorated for our honeymoon. We had breakfast at the beach one day and at the hotel another, both were good. Beach was good and it was nice having quick transport there. We walked a couple times and it is very close. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner which was great. Room was nice and very clean.

IndonesiaThe room in our first night was a little "too dark" and the aircon was not working well on our first night. Some of the rooms looks deserted or maybe under renovation, but they look unused for a long time. Maybe they ought to cover the renovation work or cover/clean the unused room and make it more pleasing to the eyes from the outside.
The Spa was heavenly.. It was a great experience for us. The location is also not far from the beach and easily reachable by the golf buggy provided by the hotel. The beach club is quiet when we visited for breakfast. The aircon was not working well in our first night but they offered to upgrade our room on our second night, which was very pleasant. The Indian food restaurant was also great.

Beautiful decor and big family rooms. Nice breakfast and super friendly staff. Buggy to the beach was a great touch as walking would have been less enjoyable. Spa facilities were lovely as was roof top pool for a peaceful swim

MauritiusThe air-conditioner on the first level of the room wasn't working - when the technical seemed to fix it, it only worked for a few hours until it went out again. It did get quite hot in the room and the other air-cond wasn't powerful enough. The other bad side is there were works on the floor where the spa is located, it was quite gloomy when accessing the spa via the lift.
For a 2-day stay it was exactly what I was looking for, perfect location with small shops and supermarket nearby. Easy to eat outside, there are a few restaurants nearby. Beach is not far. The duplex room was very comfortable and perfect for a romantic getaway. Big pool, water was perfect. Bed was very comfy, all amenities were available for a 5* hotel.

NetherlandsThe swimming pools were disappointing. In the garden there are two small swimming pools, one without beds and the other one has a few beds without any shade so it’s not inviting. On the 3rd floor there is a swimming pool as well but it’s surrounded by rooms and there are, for instance, no plants. There is no pool service so you can’t order drinks or food at the pool. There is no room service. You can go downstairs and order food at the restaurant but there is no phone in the room to order. The breakfast is OK but I would expect better from a 5 star hotel.
The rooms were big with a nice bed and bathroom.
