Lovely little boutique place

little bit far from the beach it is in the backlanes of sanur but perfectly safe to walk to the beach about 20min walk,we even walked home at night,never had a problem.There is a small store up the laneway that sells milk,water beer and even local food if you are game to eat there.

the place itself is excellent comfort wise as well as having great friendly staff,some do not understand english o well.

The pool is cold because it gets little sun.

The facility is new and very well-maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Greetings to Nick, Sari, Arya, and all other staff members for your courtesy and friendship!

The pool was very well maintained however it was a tad too cool for our liking.....just a few more degrees would have made it more inviting. Otherwise.....it met our expectations & there was nothing we didn't like.

The location is secluded & quiet but being on the Southern end of Sanur, it is a bit of a walk to the main area of Sanur & the main beach area. However it's easy & cheap to organise a Grab to get wherever you want to go. The staff were all very accommodating & pleasant & no request was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed our week-long stay & thank the staff for their efforts .

I loved everything about kubunaku staff rooms where so clean and comfortable and there was a great size fridge to do some shopping. It's was comfortable homey and very clean hubby and I will definitely be back

Absolutely 100 percent loved everything. I work in tourism in new Zealand and will be back at Kubunaku soon. Miss all the staff and the owner. Cried when I had to leave.

Last minute deal. Close to the ferries. New and simple style hotel. Bedding & towels great condition. Comfortable large bed. Clean & tidy. Nice cool room. Smaller room & bathroom and kitchen area was outside room.

Everything looks fresh, clean, and modern, clearly kept with great care. The breakfast is delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing. Owner Nick and his wife Marissa are incredibly friendly and welcoming, as is Adi, Nick’s brother. They make your stay feel personal and special. Nick and his staff are always willing to help you with anything, which makes the experience even better. His beautiful singing birds add a unique and charming touch! The location is ideal: peaceful and free from traffic noise, yet close to the beach and restaurants. Within just a few minutes by scooter, you can reach everything you need. There are both luxury beach clubs and laid-back spots to enjoy the sea. For anyone looking for tranquility while still being close to everything, Kubunaku is perfect. A truly wonderful place – I will definitely be back!

Screaming kiddies in the next room.

It was new (only 4-months old), clean, modern & well appointed. Soft fluffy white towels and linen. Comfortable bed. Good high-speed wifi connection. Nick the owner was very helpful & was happy to review all feedback to ensure our stay was superb. I stayed with my 94 year old Stepfather Vern. We had ground floor rooms next door to each other. Vern’s eyesight is poor but because the floor surface was flat and without many steps, it was safe and great for him to move around independently, Thoroughly recommend Kubunaku. Well done Nick & staff. We will be back when next in Bali.

The staff were very helpful, although not always understanding me very well. But they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I stayed an extra 6 days than originally planned.

The location was a little off the beaten track.

Comfortable rooms, and a really lovely boutique hotel ambiance. The facility is quite new and the rooms are in excellent condition.

The walls are a bit thin, so sound can travel. It would be good to have an iron available for long stays.

Kubunaku had a comfortable home feel. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept clean daily and they were attentive to requests made. A family friendly location. A few minutes walk towards Sanur Beach. A good base to explore Sanur and surrounding areas. Great value for money.

Search summary said it was 400 meters from the beach but it is much further away. It does say it in the description but I didn’t read that until after I booked, but the bonus is that it is very quiet and peaceful if you are happy to be away from the main area 😀

Property is new and very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was relaxing to sit by the pool on super comfortable sun lounges and read.

Staff (all family) ♥️ Nic the owner is a wonderful host ♥️ Pool Room Bathroom Bed so comfy White sheets and towels Small kitchen on the balcony fabulous WiFi is top notch Close to the beach and restaurants They serve breakfast too Really quiet Pool is deep so not good for young children Around the pool area is great

The staff and facilities are excellent. They even noticed it was my birthday while we were there wished me a happy birthday and made a birthday cake of towels and flowers ❤️ was such a lovely unexpected surprise
