Nothing at all. It was all excellent.

The villa was beautiful, and authentically Balinese, with a Japanese twist. The garden was well established, and well appointed. The Bed, Bathroom, and pool were incredible. The staff on hand were all so friendly and helpful. The villa was cleaned everyday at a time which suited us, and it felt brand new everyday. The kitchen facilities were also very good, with it being well equipped and handy as a second space etc. the lighting at the villa was also excellent, with the ability to create different moods easily. The villa is also very private, and quiet, with it being a hard place to want to leave everyday.

The villa is just the perfect hidden place to stay around seminyak, everything is perfect there… the kitchen, the swimming pool and of course the room and the bathroom is so lovely… will recommend 100% the bed was very comfy, the bathroom is beautiful, everything work perfectly… and the staff is very nice… we ask for fresh coconut for our arrival , and they didn’t want we pay for it, they put a little flower on it, and they arrange us to have early check in and late checkout… The location is very close to batubelig beach where there is fews good place to eat good local food with ocean view, a walk around this beach for the sunset is very nice… and there is a very nice cafe and breakfast lunch place very close to the villa… Thank you so much again Unforgettable memories

We didn’t find Batu Belig so exciting compared to other places on Bali. But the villa is so lovely to stay in.

The only thing that was not perfect, was the kitchen, a bit dirty under the sink.

Everything in the bedroom, bath and pool were very clean and tidy. The old style makes the house still more romantic.

You might face issues with the (local farmers) neighbors where they burn the rice field and the smoke is scary. The vila staff talked to them not their fault. We had a pool problem but the management was fast to fix and the staff is helpful and responsive. Very responsive host. Amazing experience overall.

It is beautiful and close to many stores. It has a nice kitchen and a great place to eat in the corner (watercress) The place is quiet in the middle of crazy busy Bali Heaven in the middle of chaos

Possible not the best location. But plenty of reasonable restaurants near by. A good 15/20 min walk to beaches. Grab available every where though so didn’t cause us much trouble. Bedding could be updated. Floors can be very slippery when you come out of the pool. I slipped on my first day and broke my toe. Just beware!

Stunning property. Visually so attractive to look at and be in. Massive bed and plenty of room overall. We loved the gardens so much that we are basing our new garden design on it! Lovely and clean and staff were very attentive when required

Everything was awesome.

We were staying at The Sanyas Suites but after 4 nights of no sleep we had to cut short our stay and were lucky enough to find this place for our last few nights. So many parts of Seminyak now are impacted from noisy nightclubs that literally vibrate the bed, let alone banging house music at 3am. Kubu Kayu villa is in a quieter part of Seminyak. Facilities are awesome! Dark at night. Quiet at night. Fantastic Cafe at the end of the street. Just wish we had stayed here the whole time. We will definitely be back. If this place is available for your stay - book it! You won't regret it.

Although there are plenty of good cafes and minimarts just outside, the villa is located in a rather busy area. Firstly, there are construction and build works surrounding the villa which would start at around 8am everyday. Then there are parties nearby the villa at night, with people drunk-singing karaoke within earshot. But I think the worst was getting out of the villa area/ out of Jl Batu Belig itself - traffic was horrendous and we would need 35-45 minutes just to get out of that long stretch of road to head out anywhere by car.

We stayed at the Gladak villa, which was perfect for the two of us. The villa itself was rustic (with a lot of traditional elements in its design, furnishings and fittings), gorgeous and clean; the pool was a decent size; the extra large bed on the wooden platform was comfortable (but creaky); and the bathroom was huge. We loved that the kitchen was al fresco which made chilling by the pool at night even better. Putra, who was in charge of our stay, kept checking in and was available on WhatsApp anytime which was great. Just outside the villa is an awesome restaurant, and within walking distance are numerous cafes, spas, and minimarts - really convenient.

The architecture and the attention to details was amazing. The accommodation is just stunning. I have fallen in love with the Indonesian style, their use of wood and light cement. The staff was exceptional as well, really polite and accommodating. They even treated us with fresh coconuts!

Everything! They made our stay so special! They were so caring and so prompt with all our requests! They surprised us with coconuts and fruits in the fridge. The villa was spotless clean and soooo comfy. I couldn’t be happier about the choice I made of choosing this villa! They have all my heart!!
