There was some very loud music for hours in the evening. Not the family’s fault at all but I mention so you bring ear plugs in case.

Great homestay with a lovely balcony and view. Location is a little further from Bromo than other accommodation but that was no problem as we used their jeep tour.

Nothing in particular - just a heads up: transport is needed to go anywhere

Very chill and relaxed location, nice staff (they organized pickup and drop off from/to the train station as well transport to Mt. Bromo); food can served onsite; beds are comfy, water pressure is very nice; there is a cute common area overseeing the village; tea and coffee available for free

That I did not stay longer.

Eko and family took us in as one of their own. This was a live like the local experience. From pick up to dropp off at the train everybody we meet was soo friendly. The guest house is in the middle of the mountains and its nature, chickens and rooster roaming around. The trip to mount Bromo was well arranged with a 4x4.

Eko, his family and team are beyond helpful and kind. It was a great spot to stay for one night and go for the Mount Bromo tour, whispering sands, etc. I would stay a night and take Ekos' assistance to arrange the tour as they are helpful and genuinely honest people. Their food was simple, and omelette breakfast with bread was delicious ! Thank you very much!

Everything was good: friendly and polite hosts, beautiful place, clean room and good location to visit Volcano Bromo. The room is a little damp, perhaps this is a feature of the climate during the rainy season. Thank you so much for organizing the jeep trip to Bromo. It was amazing.

no wall hanger in the room for clothes or towels, in the bathroom no proper stand for showerhead, so you cannot stand underneath, have to use one hand.

Excellent value for money. Food was simple but very tasty. Eko was extremely helpful in organising waterfall and Bromo tour. Would definitely recommend.

Every turn in the bed caused a terrible creaking sound, waking up the people sleeping on it. The bedding and towels and made out of synthetic materials, the towels did not absorb water.

Perfect spot for visiting Bromo Volcano. Family owned homestay, the owners are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. There was a possibility to buy a breakfast for 25K (around $1.6) which was good and satisfied the after Bromo tour hunger.

We had the best stay with Eko at KopiKuin. The locations is beautiful and the rooms nice and comfortable. You feel totally at home. It’s our top Homestay / Hotel in Indonesia! Eko runs a super Bromo Vulcano tour with the cool 1970 Toyota Jeeps. Would 100% recommend!

It is a simple but clean homestay. Basic yet tasty food. Good base to do the Bromo sunrise tour, which is organised directly and efficiently by the owner. Trip starts at 3.30 am, from when it is about 40mts to the view point by Jeep (followed by a 20 minute ride down to ‘Teletubbies’, then the ‘Whispering Sands’ and the acutal Bromo). Overall an amazing experience.

A little noisy if you go to bed early

The stay is simple, but clean. More inportantly the host Was very friendly and helped us to organise the tour to bromo and the transport to the trainstaion. Communication via WhatsApp worked very well, he responded very fast.

One of the shower hose’s needs replacing, so we couldn’t, but its fine - thanks to the owner for looking after our kids in the Toyota as we hiked up to the crater!

Great staff as we did the Mt Bromo tour with them as they have a fleet of FT40’s, a must to do!! Great omelette post tour!! Very good convo’s had!
