Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Overall property was good and very calm although very near by ubud central but still one of calmest place and location was too good to reach as its on road just ~2 kms far from ubud central. Staff was helpful and friendly. They arranged multiple tours activities for us with reasonable prices.

The infinity pool was nice although it gets cold even on August. All staff were excellent and polite. The room spacious and the hotel is quiet. You can take the breakfast anywhere you like (room, balcony, pool or the restaurant).

FranceOftentimes there wasn’t anybody at the bar so had to walk to the reception to ask something, it’s a small property though so distances are very short. And a little odd that when you flush the toilet it just exits from a pipe straight down into the valley below the balcony.. Specific to families with toddlers: the structure of the bungalows with a ton of steps and corners is perhaps not great for the very smallest kids (ours was already 3 so for us it was fine). The high chair for kids is much higher than the table which is a little odd but works.
Nice spacious rooms, nice little restaurant with good food, small but nice pool. Location is quiet, away from the center, when the traffic is good, you’re in town quickly but when the traffic is bad it can take a bit of time still.

PortugalIt was my first time in Ubud, Bali. Loved the hotel. I had an amazing stay at ketut's Place Cottage Ubud! The room was absolutely beautiful, with lovely decor and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made me feel welcome. I especially appreciated how peaceful and quiet the whole place was — it’s perfect if you’re looking to relax. The food was delicious. The location is great too: just a 20-minute walk from the center, or you can easily get a uber whenever needed. Everything is super accessible. Another big plus was the laundry service — very convenient and affordable, which made my stay even more comfortable. I’d definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Ubud. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, tranquility, and great service. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect for a couple of days break for me and my family. Rooms were a comfortable size for four. Unfortunately me and my family got ill during our stay and they were quick to help clean up, change bedding etc. Option of breakfast on the balcony is a great touch.

GreeceBeds were on the hard side. The sheets did not have the fresh filling when we arrived. The breakfast was good but options were limited so we got tired of it the 3rd day.
Great location, just a bit outside the craziness of Ubud. among some nice resorts, nice restaurants and a few rice terraces. Accommodating staff. Decent breakfast. Nice pool. One of the few options with family rooms at that price.

NetherlandsWiFi is very unstable and slow in the room. Like, literally every couple of minutes or so it disconnects. We didn’t use it much but when we wanted to use it we went to the pool area. The road towards the center is very busy and it does not have a curve everywhere. However that seems to be a normal thing in Ubud. We took a grab taxi a couple of times as we didn’t want to make the walk back in the dark. Like I mentioned earlier the villa we had was on the side of the premises which makes it quite which is nice. I did mentioned the very bright TL light outside. They mentioned it is from the parking lot next to it, but seriously the light is so bright even the slightest gap in the curtains makes your whole room light up. I had to barricade the curtains. I would seriously do something about that light as it does not need to shine towards the villa.
The food at Ketuts is amazing, really one of the reasons why I would come back there. We stayed in more expensive places where the food wasn’t as good as at Ketuts. All the food we had was delicious but the breakfast is a winner. We stayed in a villa sawadewa (we asked for quite and it was quite). The front overlooked the jungle and the back had a terrace overlooking the garden. It was truly wonderful. The staff is really nice and helpful. We liked that it wasn’t crowded and it was just us and a couple of people at the pool which was nice.

Slovakia- minor thing we overlooked: trips booked via reception cover only the transportation cost, any entrance fees and taxes have to be paid by yourself on top of transport
- quiet location - beautiful views from pool and most of the rooms - delicious food in the restaurant, quite large selection of breakfast options - very helpful staff Ketut (owner) is really nice guy, if you have any questions about anything, he is always happy to help! And not just him, anyone from the staff will :)
