Beautiful place with stunning pool area. We were lucky and got an upgrade to a mini villa which was lovely. Staff very helpful, such a peaceful chilled place.

Good location. Clean, spacious, comfortable Bungalow suites set in well maintained gardens, accurate reflection to pictures on website. Good wifi throughout. Good air conditioning. Good sized swimming pool. Comfortable sun beds. Staff are warm gracious friendly and efficient. Owner/manager genuinely is interested and cares about his guests in respect of health well-being and contentment with their stay. I would return without hesitation.

Only issue we had was staying in Villa 1 (Nice villa and great size) is situated next to the raod there was building work going on opposite, it was quite nosey, generator going and angle grinders etc. We spoke to the manager and they moved us the next day to Villa 4 which was perfect.

Good location, near to restaurants and main road and not to far to the beach. Staff were nice, good service, good breakfast.

Private and peaceful villa in handy location. Rooms large with great air conditioning. Large beds and well appointed. Outdoor shower was awesome. Lounge, dining and pool was devine.

The room was lovely and the deck and outdoor bathroom were beautiful. It’s a quiet place, away from the busy-ness of the main touristy area but still walking distance to the main street and the beach. The lovely pool is a relief after walking in the heat!

Great location. Beautifully maintained and private pool as well as general guest pool! Our villa was modern, clean and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful shower. Staff were happy to deliver breakfast which was pastries, jam, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon toast and coffee and included in price. Staff were amazing and the owner Mateo was very helpful.

😁 awesome place to stay ... lovely quiet place just a very short walk to shops and food and a less than 5 more minutes to the beach.... great food as well .... breakfast was included and was excellent as was the couple of lunches we had .... the staff were fabulous ... always friendly , helpful lovely people .... and cleanliness and facilities were perfect for us ... ... a precious jewel as a place to stay 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Not much… we only had breakfast once as we preferred to eat out to have more variety.

The villa was clean and quiet and the bed - very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay a memorable one, in fact we liked it so much we’re returning in November for an even longer stay.

As a solo traveller, I did feel a little uneasy walking back through the streets from the beach to the hotel but it was easy enough to get a taxi (Grab App). Noise of motorbikes at night was quite loud but I think that’s unavoidable anywhere you stay in Sanur tbh

We really enjoyed our stay at Katala due to the exceptionally kind and friendly staff and owners (greetings especially to Mateo and Rika :) ), the calm location, the beautiful garden and very comfortable villas, tasty breakfast and lunch and overall very relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for 3 weeks and want to say thank you for such a wonderful and memorable holiday! :) When we come back to Sanur, we certainly will choose Katala again.
