There was a rustling noise in the ceiling (like cats maybe?) that would lightly startle me.

Kapri and Ayu (the hosts, owners) of the guesthouse were incredibly warm, welcoming and accommodating. The bedroom was clean, spacious and convenient to the places I needed to be close to.

It's a bit far from the center, so you have to take a bike 15 minutes away. The plugs, along with my Latin converter, had to be supported underneath, otherwise it would fall off.

I loved the room. Its beautiful decor and the bed were perfect for relaxing. It even had a very comfortable desk and sofa for working.

Cutest and loveliest people and the comfort for the price is so good! I stayed here for 12 days and everything was perfect. I personally prefer to stay outside Ubud Center, everything important is close by, I could easily rent a motorbike with them, so got everything what I needed for a relaxed stay. I enjoyed my stay at Kapri Balinese House. I even extended my time there. The room was comfortable, and had all the amenities needed with a cozy energy. Very quiet neighborhood, while being a quick scooter ride to all the places you want to go to in Ubud. It’s not a luxury accommodation, but it is certainly amazing for the value. The staff was very kind and attentive. Cleaned everyday, and offered some nice drinks throughout the stay. I recommend this stay to anyone!

The only thing that we didn’t like was that the bathroom door is out of glass, so from the bed you have a direct view to the toilet.

The room is amazing, beautiful, so spacious, clean & big bathroom. The owner is super nice as well and we got welcomed with a super yummy juice.

Kapri Balinese House is the best place to stay in Ubud! Undoubtedly the best! Stay there and feel the warm welcome of the Balinese family. Mr. Kapri, his wife Desak Kapri, their younger daughter Jasmine and their two dogs are the best company we had there. The room is best with a spacious room, bathroom, and storage! The nature vibe is so serene! We will come again!

Location is a bit far if you don't have a scooter. It was a 30-40 minute walk to the center of Ubud. You can take the Monkey Forest Road cut through though which is quite scenic. Sage is an excellent vegan restaurant a short walk away. You can also use Grab if you need a taxi.

Room was very large and beautiful. Cold a/c. Excellent attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable. There were nightstands, lamps, and electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Room also had a couch, coffee table, full length mirror, and wardrobe. Large bathroom with good counter space and storage. Excellent water pressure and hot water. Peaceful location in a quiet neighborhood. We extended our stay from 2 nights to 4 nights. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Husband Ketut Kapri also has a guide business and drove us for 2 full days to see temples and waterfalls and monkeys. His Bedugul tour was especially good. Highly recommended!! He also drove us from Ubud to Lovina after we checked-out. We learned a lot about Balinese daily life from him. It was a wonderful experience.

The stay at Kapri house was perfect. The room is beautiful just like in the pictures. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. The shower is nice and hot, the room is extremely clean and the A/C works perfectly. The accommodation is close to everything you need. We walked to the sacred monkey forest. We couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Just go ahead and book. Best place we’ve stayed in Asia.

Room is exceptionally clean, Beautiful Balinese art room decor combine with modern amenities. Bed is super comfort with 4 pillows which is rare find in any hotel room. The owner is Balinese family, Pak Kapri and Ibu Ayu with 2 lovely children. They are very hospitable, doing their best to provide our needs. Really feel like home and definitaly would come back.
