We didn’t have our own transportation which limited our own exploration but could organise any time with Adi to take us anywhere if needed.

What a great gem of a place to stay off a side alleyway. We loved our room with the four poster bed with mosquito nets and the open bathroom. Our food was upstairs so we felt we were amongst the tree and foliage. Ketut & Adi were wonderful and warm hosts and so informative about things they thought would interest us locally . Adi drove us to a bamboo forest surrounding (and we visited )Penglipuran village. We really enjoyed everything about that visit especially all the cultural aspects of Balinese life. Adi was so informative. They also organised our onward transportation. Breakfast was prepared on the property and delicious. If you wanted dinner, you could place an order from a local restaurant that Ketut would organise. The food was good but a bit limiting for vegetarians. I enjoyed the massages I had . Ketut will also organise a masseuse to come to the room. She was fantastic !!! We so enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying at Jungle Joglo. The owner was super nice, giving a warm welcome and all conveniences. And the breakfast was made in place by an aunty. The room was very confortable, I had an excellent sleep score there !

Not so much to do if you don’t have transport and no restaurants in walking distance. Hosts collect a takeaway from a good restaurant.

No complaints, just one loud and tired fan

Wonderful stay at Jungle Joglo. A lovely welcome from the owner who was totally at one with her surroundings, even making her own plant based soap. The bed was very comfortable; the room had a kettle which seemed quiye unusual for Bali. Good variety of food, although dinner was a bit pricey compared to other places we stayed at. And great valed for money. Would recommend as a place to stay if you need a night en route to somewhere. ,

Everything! Adie and Ketut were incredible hosts, the breakfasts, the rooms and the gardens were just beautiful. You can walk 10 meters and you are in the most beautiful nature you could imagine!

Host is top notch. Jungle walk attached. Easy to borrow motorcycle as needed. Private and isolated at end of street. Good place for a couple.

If I have to find something, I would say that the pressure of the shower wasn't that strong.

Take a deep breath and enjoy the nature... Very nice and comfy room, exceptional staff. The owners are really nice and helpful. Good breakfast

Roosters are loud all day, but I personally didn’t mind.

I had an amazing time in Jungle Joglo. They went above and beyond to make my experience good. Soap and shampoo are handmade and Ketut explained everything thoroughly. She even helped me learning Bahasa. The warmth of this accommodation is unbeatable and I would definitely recommend it.

Taxis possible but not so many for short trips (Grab, Gojek). The owner Adi can drive you if needed.

Village location close to waterfalls, UNESCO temples, coffee plantations. Can rent a bike from the owner. Good breakfast. around 30-50mins from UBUD. Nice rooms.

I could sometimes hear my neighbours and having just come form a silent retreat my hearing was extra sensitive but after having a chat with my neighbours they shared that they couldn’t hear me.

Such friendly owners and staff who go above and beyond. Ketut and Adi make you feel like family and as a solo traveller this makes all the difference. The breakfast was great and had a good option to choose from, the bed was really comfortable and really big for one person! There was a beautiful trekking trail at the end of the street it is down and a secluded temple space which ketut took me to. I love how invested and passionate ketut is about the work she is doing for the earth and community, with the enzymes. I really felt inspired by her and see how committed she is to making a difference in Bali and wider. She is so knowledgeable. I was also poorly when I stayed there and felt very looked after and supported. Ketut also cooked me dinner a couple of evenings which was delicious

That I couldn't stay longer....

Very beautiful and magic place! It is one of the small groups of accommodation which really cares about sustainability tourism, which I highly recommend to "copy" ideas and spread out for other accommodation in Bali. The rooms are spacious and very cosy with everything you need (to make coffee, tea, fridge,...) Breakfast is delicious and if you ask in advance they prepare dinner for you also.

Can get noisy with animal sounds for those who can't stand constant rooster crowing. But I love them all. It adds to the jungle/village vibe.

When you first enter the property, you might feel you're in the "wrong" place. However, once inside your room, you feel you're in a resort accommodation. It was a real treat to have a shower under the sky. There were no insects or mosquitoes in the room despite it being next to the jungle.

It was a beautiful location and the hostess was very nice. On our second day here she offered to take us to a traditional Balinese house and took us for a very informational walk through the jungle. The breakfast was amazing and they also did our laundry!

In the morning there is some noise made by roosters (bring you oropax with you). The surrounding warungs are only ok.

The Hosts were very friendly. The gave us lots of information what we can do and made the best to feel good. It is in the jungle. So it is a quiet place to calm down with many temples and waterfalls nearby.

The bedding had a slight musty smell to it. Not too bad, though. I guess it's one of the snags of living in the jungle.

Absolutely wonderful and helpful hosts that goes beyond exceptional. A cosy room in a nice natural setting. Also by far the nicest bathroom I had during my trip to Bali. (This aspect seems vastly overlooked elsewhere, at least in this price range.)
