How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The staff were very welcoming and polite and friendly and helpful, booked us onward travel quick and simple. The accommodation was excellent, clean, and spacious with air-conditioning and hot shower. The swimming pool was lovely and clean and refreshing after a hot day exploring. Fresh fruit and pancakes for breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bathroom and drains in general smelled icky sometimes and could be taken care of a bit better.
Great location to easily get to the center of Kuta by foot as well as for exploring by scooter. Very quiet surroundings at night and the garden area is beautiful. The rooms have been renovated since some of the pictures here on Booking, they're nothing luxurious but offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were welcoming, helping us rent a scooter as well as further transportation options.

The rooms need some tender loving care as they are dated. For example the toilet lid had holes in it. The front door is very worn and needed sanding back and renovating. These are just superficial things but would help spruce the rooms up. You could walk into the centre, however it was some distance (20 - 30 minute walk).
The room was clean and of a good size. It was a little dated and needed to have some small things fixed. Each room has a patio to be able to sit outside and nice gardens. It had a pool but we did not use it. Warungs were close by to get something to eat.

A lovely home stay on the outskirts of the town, comfortable accommodation with a pool, and a lovely breakfast. Great staff and very friendly. Would recommend.

The environment is very pretty but needs an update and a good clean up in the grounds. The kitchen needs updating too as do the bathrooms in the rooms which weren't very clean. Great for backpackers on a budget. Lovely place but just seemed a bit tired and untendered to.
Great location to get into Kuta town centre, 10 minutes walk. Great location to travel along the coast and further afield if you get a scooter which you can hire from the homestay. The room was spacious and a comfortable bed. Free tea and coffee from the flask in the kitchen.

Would have been nice if the staff would have checked if there is still toilet paper and maybe from time to time clean during the stay, but other than that I really liked my stay!

Walking into the main town area felt a bit far, but it wasn’t too far….
Banana pancake and fruit breakfast in the morning was nice. The bed was big, aircon worked great and the room was comfortable and clean. No water hot and average WiFi (typical for Indo!). Small pool area was nice in the heat. Some pretty flowers in the garden. Good vibes, I recommend!

I loved my stay here, the room is comfortable and clean and the toilet and shower work very well! Breakfast was yummy, the pool is great to chill and above all, the family is very caring and nice!

Nice spot with a swimming pool. Not too far of a walk down to town and the beach. Staff were friendly. The bathrooms were a little basic but overall all good

The first room I stayed in had termites and because the front door didn’t close properly it got a lot of mosquitoes BUT I spoke with the staff and they sorted a new room for me immediately which was much better
I stayed for around 5 weeks, the staff are really lovely and so helpful. The pool area is nice and the their banana pancakes are great. I liked the location as it was near the town but away from any noise

The way in was a bit rough.

Humm, let me think about it during 2 or 4 days,
Almost everything was just perfect, Raiz, Wiwi, Hendry, and Ruz are just amazing with the service and information, accommodation, reception, and all the facilities. I went for 2 nights and stayed more than 10 days, Am a 15 years Bali long-term experience

Customer service could have been better.
The location was a nice walk into the centre. The pool was clean with beautiful surroundings. The property took care of our laundry. The breakfast was tasty.

The room didn’t had ac but there’s a fence working.
The place is really nice, just 5 minutes driving to the center of the town. 10/15 to the closest beach. Staff was lovely and helpful. Nice to have a pool around, and the room has everything you need
