Breakfast was a hit, everyone in our group loved it The variety of pools, kids, party and quiet pool. Staff all so helpful. Our room was near our kids and both located with pool and ocean views, both cleaned nicely each day

Very old tired and run down whole place needs heaps of maintenance too expensive for condition of rooms , outside balcony rail very wobbly and dangerous and the chairs outside were so old and dirty we thought they’d break

This was our 2nd stay as we love the included breakfast, the location and the facilities

Our room this time was a bit close to the kids pools, we don't have children so this didn't appeal in terms of the noise

The location was great the breakfast was good

The plumbing. Backed up all the time. They attempted to fix it but it didn't work. It needs painting. Very out dated. The sink and shower\ bath were in disrepair. I had to request hand towels every day

The grounds and pool areas were very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

After booking about 6 months in advance and paying before we arrived, The Jayakarta did not have our booked room available. They put us in a sub standard room the first night, and said they would try and find a room for us the next day. They did but that room very dilapidated and dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, filthy, mouldy, peeling walls,no hot water on arrival, and when it finally came on, the water was mud! We complained to the manager and asked for a refund to book another resort, she said Booking.com had not paid them so they couldn’t refund us. We tried to get hold of booking.com, but after ringing, doing an online conversation and getting nowhere we gave up. We would never stay at The Jayakarta again, the couple who came with us were also disgusted. It wasn’t just us, we heard many stories about people complaining about their rooms, and having to be moved from room to room as they didn’t have their requested rooms available.

The friendly staff, the beautiful gardens, comfortable rooms and beds. The pools were fantastic and the restaurant was awesome.

The rooms are a little dated and bathrooms a bit tired looking.

Most of the staff were very lovely and it was located across the road from the beach which was good. And the garden was well kept and beautiful.

The staff at reception weren’t helpful and messed up my booking and just rolled their eyes at me. I paid for deluxe room and they didn’t have it, they asked me to pay for my stay even though I had paid before I got there, so I had to search for my payment confirmation which was stressful because we all had been awake since 1am and room wasn’t ready till 2 pm. I had to wait till 3.30 pm because they had to try and find me a deluxe room I had paid for. They didn’t even offer a complimentary drink or anything for messing me around….and as everyone knows it’s hot there! It is a very noisy place to stay, so not good if u have small children and want to relax. The room was run down and the doors are very thin and falling apart. Large gaps under the doors. Bathroom had a lot of mould and gaps all around the ceiling which let hundreds of mozzies and flying insects in every day . I sprayed surface spray under doors etc but didn’t keep mozzies coming in from bathroom so I left that door shut all the time. They don’t provide face washers so if u use them u hv to bring with u. I understand it’s not going to be perfect and im more than ok with that but it wasn’t real good unfortunately… But I looooove Bali and have been 5 times so far but wouldn’t stay at this resort again. But will come back to Bali over and over again. Thanku Bali!!!!

Amazing staff, great location, fantastic for the kids, great pool and lovely setting

At first, we booked a 1 bedroom apartment with terrace, however arrived and got put in an apartment on 4th floor, which was not suitable for our toddler.. also very loud music from next doors club still going around midnight. Next day we asked to move and they offered a smaller room, but much more suitable and it was near the front of the resort on ground floor which was perfect. Rooms are bit old and tired but are clean and good value for money.
