Nothing much really. It is not because of the property. It is more like the area is not very developed yet, so no evening activities around.

Really cool lodge :) It's a quiet and green oasis a short walk from the beach. The owner can help you with organizing fun trips to green bay and the turtle beach. Food was really good. Bonus points for the cat named Snowy. It's a little off the beaten path, but the owner can can organize transportation.

The owner was lovely, as was the rest of the staff. Extremely accommodating as we are vegan and they were able to organise meals for us. Arranging transport to the turtle lodge and to our next destination was also extremely easy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Breathtaking scenery and a beautiful place to stay.

Staying at this accomodation was a highlight of my trip.  Hadi, the owner, and his family were so welcoming and helpful with the stay and figuring out the train for when I left. They made delicious food and we even got to try fresh lobster.  Ocha was our guide for the trip to Sukamade beach who, along with the park rangers, taught my group about the turtles at the conservation area and the jungle. She was knowledgable, supportive and outgoing. She was always checking in, making sure we were comfortable and answering questions. Indra and Dimas picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. As I was early for the train, Indra took me to his home to meet his family and enjoy fresh fruit and Indonesian treats. It was an excellent experience with empty beaches and wonderful people. I hope to have the chance to come back someday.

The Turtle tour - maybe some years ago it was diffrently, but it is not exactly what is advertised. They say we are going to watch the turtles laying eggs. People must be quiet waiting for this. But there were around 30 people in the same time from different tour providers, and of course, some were speaking, some were laughing and so on...there are always some people who can't keep quiet. I personally think, that that's why nowdays it is impossible to see the turtles lying eggs. But we saw the mother turtle going back into the see, and the next morning we released the babies, and it was great too! And we had unforgettable drive througt th jungle. The tour is great!

It is like paradise on the earth - beautiful place and surrondings, lush tropical vegetation, warm ocean, paradise beaches, very nice hosts and smiling, beautiful javanese people around you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - the hosts wife makes tasty food. The host Hadi organizes very interesting 2 days 1 night Turtle tour, no need to book the room for that night! The warmest greetings to Ocha (sorry, if the name isn't spelled correctly) and Adi for the giding the tour. You were excellent! Thank you!

This hotel was the pearl of our trip due to its coziness and atmosphere. The owner of the hotel and his family did everything to make our stay there unforgettable. Delicious home-cooked food, clean comfortable rooms, calm atmosphere, landscape design, everything was great. The organized excursion from the hotel to the beach of Sukamade, where turtles lay their eggs - it was the best adventure of the whole trip.

Super calm destination, relaxing ambience, next to coastline, trip to Sukamade beach to see big sea (green turtle) turtle worth vising this lovely place and particularly this lodge. Very well maintained, breakfast is good. The lodge is located far from city in quite countryside, it is precious feature of that place for busy Indonesia. They also offer dinner which is quite good and you may ask for lunch as well (Pisang goreng / fried banana was excellent here and coconut which is growing right in front of your villa and dragon fruit behind the fence). We definitely want to come again and experience a jungle trip to turtle beach one more time. Nice staff and the place is tranquil. Unforgettable memories left after this lodge and turtle trip

We spent 5 days here and enjoyed it! The garden is phantastic and the whole premise is so nicely arranged. Breakfast and dinners were delicious and every day with nice variations of different vegetables abd fresh fruits from garden next door. Naturally, the location of the lodge is quite remote in a tiny village, right on the edge of the national park. Take some snacks with you!

We loved our stay at Turtle Lodge. The overnight turtle trip is so well organised, fun and informative. Releasing the baby turtles and seeing the female laying the eggs was incredible and a real bucket list moment. Our guide, Ocha, was incredible. Smiley, patient, knowledgeable and kind. Our first female guide in Indonesia (!) and she was brilliant - she answered every question with enthusiasm, and in perfect English too! The accomodation for the overnight trip is basic (no aircon) but so worth it. The lodge itself is comfortable, clean and has a brilliant team behind it willing to help with every need. The surrounding beaches are beautiful and Hadi is happy to give you a lift. I'd love to go back!
