very strong smell in the entrance and bedding that did not seem very clean.

The owners were lovely and welcoming. The accommodation is right in the center, ideal for getting around on foot. Very good breakfast. Good value for money.

The ventilation in the room can be better. Not a negative but area of improvement.

A place to consider if you are a solo traveller. A minute away from the main street in Ubud. The family is very courteous and have no issues if you arrive late in the night.

Rooms are nice but there is a very high humidity and besides air conditioning there is stink of mold.

The staff was nice, location was good and the owner prepared for us breakfast after our visit to Mt. Batur even if it was after their standard hours for breakfast.

Amazing hostess who was very helpful and made a delicious breakfast of eggs or banana pancakes! Be sure to tell her if you won’t be there for breakfast as she gets up early to go to the markets to get ingredients! Room was clean and tidy and great location

The bathroom - very simply, no shelf, no cabinet...

The owners are very friendly and helpful. When we were looking for special goods, they took us on a motorbike to a shop where we could buy them. The rooms are large, but the bathroom is very impractical, there is nowhere to put your cosmetics. The whole area- terraces, over the courtyard is dark.

A Wonderful Stay - A Home Away from Home! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars) I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jaga Roni House, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in to the time I checked out, the staff, amenities, and overall ambiance exceeded my expectations.

After weeks in hostels I wanted a private to get proper sleep. 1/2 days I woke up at 7.30 and couldnt get back to sleep because the kids were playing in the courtyard and its right in front of the room. If you are an early bird or not a light sleeper as me, it should be fine though

Nothing - it is fantastic value for money.

Jaga Roni House was our home away from home for over 3 weeks whilst we stayed in Ubud to study and workout. The location was terrific - so close to the centre of town so we could walk easily to coffee shops, traditional warung restaurants and other upmarket western restaurants. The room is exactly as you see in the photos with a supremely comfortable bed, strong air conditioning and a hot shower. Sparsely furnished but very clean. This place isn’t fancy but the family that runs it (they live here too) are more than accommodating. So very kind and welcoming - our home cooked breakfast that came with the booking changed daily! This was perfect for our needs and we had a terrific stay.

Honestly, can’t say anything bad about this hotel stay! The staff were so so so lovely and really accommodated to all our needs! We checked in super late (due to flights) and owners were there with a huge smile waiting. AC was on for us in the room before entering, room smelt lovely, was cleaned and sheets smelt fresh. Breakfast is simple and tasty ! You can also rent a bike with them if you like. Location is perfect, so close to everything ! Honestly great !

The family was so nice with us, always say hi and ask us if we needed anything or if we wanted breakfast when we woke up. The kids and the little dog were lovely. Ac was cold, it was in a quiet neighbourhood but yet close to anything you need
