How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A bit maintenance of bathroom would be good but really, it wasn’t bad and everything else was really great.
Cozy place in a top location and amazing staff. Staff were friendly and helpful! Kitchen was convenient and pool was lovely!

Room was not very clean, even for Bali standards. Bathroom was also not very clean. Only one very small blanket for the bed, no top sheet or anything. Neighbors or people in the lobby were very loud, keeping us up at night. They asked us to take off our shoes before coming into the hotel, but the floor was very dirty and sandy making our feet nasty, which was not great.
Good location near the airport. Very nice pool area. Ac worked great.i

I’ve rented room near the pool and it turned out that window is on the same side as main road. There was noise from the bikes till late night, with earplugs manageable though.
Very nice location close to the airport, clean and spacious room. Common areas were also clean and well equipped. Staff was very friendly and let me leave the luggage and take a shower after check out.

It was a bit far from Kuta beach. The hotel was close to Jerman beach, but because of the waves in July, it was less safe to get into the water. However, if you are a surfer, it would be a nice location because the place is close to the boats.
The place is very close to the airport - it took us 3 minutes to get there by car at 6 am. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The room was very nice and clean.

There was humidity in the room that caused mold.
The staff was very helpful. The hostel was pretty and really close to the airport. The common rooms were really clean and fully equipped.

The location is great, just few mins to the DPS airport, shopping and restaurant. The staff are very nice and friendly. And heaps of share space.

The bathroom was basic but clean (nothing really to say regarding the price of the room). The boy that was there early in the morning wasn’t very helpful when we asked home if there was a better way to get to the airport than the one we took the previous day.
Very close to the airport, just a 10’ walk. Had a family room which was sufficient for our family to arrive, sleep and leave early in the morning. The girl at reception when we arrived was very nice and helpful.

Very thin walls so can hear everything happening in other rooms/the corridor! The corners of the room/by the bed wasn’t the cleanest but those areas can be heard to reach
Really liked this hostel! Very good location near the airport and it had good facilities (pool, cafe etc)

We chose this hostel mainly for its proximity to the airport, and for that purpose, it was perfect. The double room facing the pool was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. However, if you're a light sleeper or looking for total quiet, it might not be ideal, as the pool’s drainage system runs constantly and can be heard in the room. With earplugs, though, it was manageable.

Very noisy and busy area, but that’s basically how Kuta is.

This place exceeded my expectations. It's walkable from the airport, was really good value for the quality, and the staff were nice. Definitely recommend as a transit hotel in Kuta.

Maybe I was unlucky but I arrived with a huge group of traveller. It was very noisy and not that clean (the bathroom especially). Many mosquito in the room as well. According to what I've seen, the hostel is a bit overrated on booking.
