A total and absolute marvel!! I have nothing but good things to say about both the room (everything was fantastic) and Gusti and his family!! They are charming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable at all times and enjoy your stay to the fullest. I will definitely come back when I return to Sidemen and I recommend it 100%.

Gusti’s villa is simply wonderful! Surrounded by greenery, peace and quiet, with a beautiful pool where you can relax and enjoy nature. Gusti and his family are truly exceptional: welcoming, helpful, and always ready to meet our needs. Breakfast was rich and delicious, prepared with care. For dinner, he provided us with a list of great local restaurants and even offered to drive us there or lend us his scooter so we could explore freely. A genuine and warm hospitality that made us feel at home. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back!

Thank you so much for the warm and wonderful hospitality, the delicious breakfast with fresh fruits from the Garden, the clean room, and the nice conversations! This is a beautiful and very peaceful place with a wonderful family – a little paradise. The rice fields are very closed, and the lovely garden, full of plants and so well cared for, is perfect to relax in. We will come back and then we will climb Mount Agung!

The hosts are trully friendly, helpful and caring. Very nice room, perfectly clean and comfortable. Good location, only 5min walk from the rice paddy trekking and close from restaurants. Very good breakfast with delicious banana pancake! We came with a one year old baby and the bed provided was perfect. We definitely recommend the place!!!

The location is quite secluded but Sidemen Rice Terraces are within walking distance, and they are stunning! You are located on a busy road, which if you are out on day trips will not concern you. The owner will take you anywhere you would like to go, locally, restaurants etc for dinner. He can also arrange a driver for day trips etc.

What an amazing family. Such beautiful people. They are so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are like brand new. So clean and comfortable. Breakfast is brought to your villa each morning at the time you request. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you both again for such a beautiful stay and I cant wait until your Warung is finished and open. See you all again one day x

Only that we couldn’t stay longer!

Everything was perfect, but Gusti and Ayu were the cherry on top! They are genuinely the kindest people we have ever met and they made sure our stay was absolutely wonderful. They really go above and beyond for their guests. We were here during silence day where we couldn’t go outside to restaurants, so Gusti cooked us delicious meals for dinner himself and didn’t want to charge us. He also offered to drive us around on his scooter, since we couldn’t drive ourselves, and even when I told him not to bother and that we would just walk back in the evening, he still came to pick us up. Only one person fits on the scooter at a time, so he had to make double trips but he didn’t mind. We are honestly so grateful to have stayed with this wonderful family. Every day we were met with kindness and helpfulness. Furthermore, the villa was everything we needed, it was clean, spacious and looked very nice. The garden was also beautiful and the pool was nice and clean and very relaxing. Everyday we received a generous and delicious breakfast. The villa is close to restaurants and rice fields, so you can walk everywhere. We definitely recommend this accommodation and wish we could go back!

Everything !! This is hands down the best place I have ever stayed in , anywhere . Sidemen itself is so beautiful and Intan Villa is s most beautiful place to be . The Villa is stunning . You feel ad if you are in a 10 star hotel , it is that good . Everything is so well thought out . The bed is luxurious , the pillows and towels top quality as are all fittings . The view to the beautiful pool and Gustis lovingly tended garden with the jungle and hills beyond is at once breath taking and peaceful . That garden! This is top quality accomadation at a bargain price . Congratulations Gusti and Aya . We will be back .

Absolutely 10/10: the villa, the property, the garden, the HOSTS. They are super helpful, going the extra mile to make sure you have the best experience. Location is also good, near the rice field (you can even walk there) and few warungs. I really recommend it. .

Intan sidemen Villa is a very special place. The accommodation is superb, pool is sparking and gardens well kept. But the Wow factor here comes from the hosts, Gusti and Ayu and Host in Training, their daughter Intan. They are really genuine and lovely people and make every guest feel special with their kindness and the little extra touches. I am regular visitor to Bali and I cannot rate them highly enough!

Everything was perfect in Gusti and Ayu' house. This little homestay really make you feel at home. Gusti is very prevenant and worried about the quality of your stay. The place is clean, beautiful, bathroom is very nice and the room is spacious. It is very well located, 5mn from the ricefield terrasse. It's amazing place to stay in Sidemen. Probably the cleanest place we stayed in Bali. It's private area with 2 villas with pool and lovely garden full of butterflies and birds. Owner is very kind, friendly, helpful,... we felt like part of his family. We wish we could spend more time here. Let's hope there no overturism in Sidemen.

A peaceful, beautiful and affordable place to stay a little out of the center of Sideman. Lovely views of the rice paddies and hills around, a beautiful garden and such a welcoming and wonderful family who will do whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are very nice, comfortable bed (less hard than others in Bali) and nice pool. Highly recommend!

Gusti and Ayu were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and ready to help in every way they could. The property is really lovely and the garden and pool just gorgeous. It is great that there are only 2 villas. It is quiet and peaceful and a more personal experience all around. Gusti was always offering to drive us out for anything at anytime. The perfect host! We walked to restaurants and warungs. There are several close by. The walking can be quite steep and hilly, but we are in our sixties and managed fine. Gusti discovered we loved snake fruit so they bought us a huge bag to take with us on our last day. Thank you so much Ayu and Gusti.

The location of the hotel is slightly out of the main part of town, it is walkable but better if you have own transport. We didn’t, but the owner drove us everywhere!

The rooms are spotless clean; the garden lush and beautiful; the pool clean and refreshing. What mostly stand out though is the hospitality of the owner/Host Gusti. He provides really good recommendations on restaurants and silver classes and offered to drive us to eateries as the weather was wet. We had lovely conversations and he really does provide 5-star services - not surprised as he used to work in established resorts down south for years before returning to his hometown to open his own hotel. We loved our stay.

It was perfect.

Had a fantastic stay at Intan Sidemen Villa. It's a few minutes walk from the best rice field terrace walk in Sidemen, really incredible to walk through and explore. The Balinese owner Gusti and his wife are the most fantastic and helpful people, meeting them was one of the highlights of my trip. The room is very clean and well appointed, great lighting, balcony and incredible garden that Gusti has grown, looking out on a beautiful pool. Bed comfortable and Internet worked very well for me (when I measured it, it was 30Mbps. Can't wait to come back here, the best place to stay in Sidemen and I wish I had stayed longer.
