The bathrooms are very old, the bathtub in my room was litterally peeling off its enamel, the sink wouldn't drain, there are large humidity marks on the bathrooms ceiling and also on the bedroom ceiling, the pool is not very clean, some other rooms look abandoned and pretty messy, with lots of things parked on their verandas. Last but not least, the staff are nice but not as caring and helpful as in other places in Bali or Indonesia.

The location, very central in Denpasar, is perfect. The rooms are spacious, with good wodden furniture and with lovely verandas overlooking the garden or the pool. The place is fairly clean and gives you complimentary coffee and tea every day.

Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly. Had to move rooms due to large amount of ants and insects in bathroom . Second room was OK except air-conditioned leaked water.

Many do not consider Denpasar when heading to Bali but I love this place and use it as an overnighter (or two) when arriving or departing Bali. This place has amazing history including guests such as the Queen Elizabeth, Mick Jagger, and many others. It is old and fairly run down but that gives it some appeal (for me). Also close to a great park and some great coffee shops.

The property is a bit old because it is a heritage hotel.

It is located in the center near malls and spas. Surya was the receptionist who welcomed me and allowed me to checkin early because I was not feeling well. He was also courteous and helpful.

I be coming here for years and the bathroom could do with an upgrade. The shower is still in the bathtub and water running of slowly.

The hotel has big potential, it is long due for a renovation, keeping original features (doors, windows). It is really outdated, and nearly featureless, which is shame. Moldy smell inside the rooms that we booked.

Location is good, in Denpasar, close to Gajah Mada (within walking distance). Old colonial building, love the checker floor.

The shower was only just ok, shower over the bath which you need to be careful stepping out of, the amount of cold water coming from the tap at the bathroom sink was really slow and minimal, the building itself was in need of renovations.

The hotel staff were very helpful and really nice, large bed that was clean and comfortable, air conditioner worked ok and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The room.size was good and the area was quiet with nothing that disturbed our sleep. Breakfast was a simple menu that was ok, the staff in the restaurant were very polite and nice.

The bed linen and towels were very very dirty/spotty. We asked and they came to change but nothing good happened, it was the same as previous.

The rooms we booked don’t actually exist. The description says the room had 2 double and 1 single. We were given one large double for 2 adults and 3 young children. Thankfully we were travelling with another person who was able to use one of their beds. The rooms and bathroom could do with an update shower heads spray EVERYWHERE but downwards but they were clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable pool. Beds are a generous size.
