I stayed at this hostel (which also has private rooms) for two weeks, and it was a beautiful experience. From the very first day, I felt welcomed and at ease, thanks to Ayu — the kindest and most caring host I’ve ever met. Always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist with anything. Without me even asking, she regularly changed the sheets and towels during my stay — such a thoughtful touch. In the female dorm, there are also lockers where you can safely store your belongings. The place is always clean, with daily housekeeping. Breakfast is included and served at the warung next door — really tasty! There’s free hot and cold drinking water available at all times, a fridge, and a swimming pool that was perfect on sunny days. I also loved experiencing a bit of the local culture: every morning there was a peaceful, authentic atmosphere that made the stay feel even more special. The location is also perfect — close enough to the center to reach everything easily, but just far enough to enjoy incredible peace and quiet when you’re back. And then, the people: I met amazing travelers that I’ll carry in my heart. There’s something about this place that attracts beautiful souls — maybe because everything starts from the care and love Ayu puts into running it. Thank you for everything, Ayu. I’ll be back soon!

Good location 10 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle but quiet. I had a private room - spacious, great bed. 6 steps to the pool, great to wake up and dunk within minutes. Don’t know why but the water felt so fresh - ambience maybe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Warung 40 metres away was very good, also friendly and my favourite Balinese coffee - not sure why.

To have to pass through the courtyard. I faced a lot of contempt from few people in that courtyard. No responses to my greetings, turning faces, Laughing, calling others to show me without being discreet. And some proper angry faces Not for black people.

The noise was too much at times, I noticed there was no glass window at the very top of my window, so I could hear the staff sweeping in the morning, geckos, birds and roosters were so loud and they kept me awake. I had to sleep with earbuds. Shower pressure was not good at all and also the water temperature kept changing, mostly it was too hot even if I closed the hot water which was weird. Breakfast was ok, but the coffee was not good, rather order tea, was a lot better. Overall I had a pleasant stay thanks to the staff and the place not being busy.

I like the location, this place is right in the city center and all the attractions are easily accessible. It was pretty quiet without any loud guests. The staff was absolutely wonderful, very attentive and kind. The water refilling station was very welcome. The room was big and the bed was comfortable.

The dog of the shop in the enterence of complex might not be friendly everyone. I am allergic and it took 5-10 minutes to avoid dog to get in first day. Hostel stuff was helpful about it. But you are allergic or have fobia,you might consider it.

i wish there was a tv in the rooms. i barely watch it, but sometimes it helps, and i missed it at this spot. the AC had some issues and did not properly cool the room either.

i loved the location, the stay is right beside tons of eateries in ubud. lots of hustle & bustle. the staff is very sweet & helpful, had a lot of laughs with them.

Cool place!!! A lot of different places to eat, in the morning breakfast is very tasty with fruit and thin pancakes with banana - I really liked it 🤤 The staff is incredibly kind, the first night I had issues with the mattress, which were solved in a minute and I slept well. I am especially grateful to Ayu ♥️🌺! The water was always both hot and cold, and my friends in a more expensive house did not have hot water for a whole week and no one solved anything. The owner of the establishment is just an incredible person, he helped me with my difficult personal issue and said: "I want your vacation in Bali to be good" - it's very cool when you travel alone! Here I met my now good friends from France and Italy - we had such a great time together that now I miss Inn Between - these are the best and warmest memories of Bali ♥️👌🌺 There is a swimming pool on the territory to relax in the water and comfortable sunbeds to sunbathe I am very glad that I chose Inn Between

Unfortunately I was bothered by noise from scooters, horns and people talking. I understand that the room is quite close to the street, but I was not expecting that.

Perfect location. The staff cleans your room daily and changes towels. The hostel in general has a very beautiful design. The restaurant - Mama's Warung - in front of the hostel is great!

Well located, really close to the centre and you can still enjoy the peace inside away from the street caos. Staff is friendly and they clean every day. I extended my staying for an extra day as they make me feel at home.

It is right next to a Temple and for our two nights there was very loud music to 11pm and 11.30 pm. We were assured this is not every night but as early birds it was annoying! We would stay again though, good outweighed 5he bad.

Lovely oasis in the middle of Ubud. Great pool. Average breakfast at Mamas Warung, but Sowabali and Cocos up the road were both excellent veggie options. Laundrette around the corner was also very good. Kettle and seating area next to pool v good.
