Lack of sport facilities , there is no tennis, no pickleball. There is one table tennis table but w/o barrier that make the games so frustrating as the balls will either land into sand pool or walkway far away.

New, clean and spacious. Their staffs are well trained and super helpful. I shall shout out Ilham from the sugarbeat restaurant, he is so attentive and helpful, the restaurant was very crowded. He seated us at the non-aircon section and quickly look out for places in aircon areas, have the place clean and setup for us to enjoy our meal.

- A couple stains on the fabric of outdoor seats & couches but nothing too serious to be honest - Maybe would be nice to re-paint bottom of the water fountain area at the entrance of the hotel where the mini ships with orange sails are. Looked like it was peeling off a but overall still looked great! - The sauce used for our stir-fry beef from the stir-fry station during the dinner buffet at SugarBeats was quite salty, maybe just a tad less would have made it perfect. - The vanilla pudding or jelly-like vanilla dessert during the dinner buffet at SugarBeats was bland. Did not taste much vanilla in it, thankfully there were plenty of other desserts to choose from.

Will breakdown this review into 3 sections. Journey to the hotel, the hotel itself, and the hotel employees. JOURNEY TO THE HOTEL: Took a ferry from Singapore, told the hotel via their whatsapp on our ETA to the ferry terminal and they arranged a hotel car pick up. Hotel car was on the dot only waited 5 minutes before we could get into it. Smooth ride & took about 10 minutes to reach the hotel from Bandar Bintan Telani Ferry Terminal. Hassle free would highly recommend. THE HOTEL ITSELF: Hotel is relatively new so facilities like the gym, lounge areas, & external view of the hotel looks aesthetic and is well maintained definitely has the high-end hotel vibe. We booked the Standard Ocean View Two Double Beds room. For what you're paying, the room really went above & beyond expectations in all aspects ESPECIALLY the cleanliness, 10/10, would rate 11 honestly. Breakfast buffet was fantastic had a very good spread and excellent food quality by a mile compared to other same level hotels I've been to. Dinner buffet was also really nice with lots of options of meat & seafood. We did Al la carte lunch and hands down was the best meal of the stay. Had a beef curry with veggies & rice and seafood noodles, both were perfect. THE HOTEL EMPLOYEES: The friendliest hotel team I've ever came across so far. I think every person we met greeted us with a Welcome or Good morning and it just felt really wholesome. Overall service in the hotel was prompt & organized even during peak times at the breakfast buffet. We would like specially thank Ms Dian the Guest Relations Manager for her genuine willingness to help us with our inquires & requests and her authentic warm-hearted personality that really made the big difference for me compared to other luxury hotels I've stayed in before. She gave us a spectacular first impression of Hotel Indigo Bintan. Also shout out to whoever helped decorate our room for the Birthday & the Cake!

The charges to another resort was quite costly.

Service of the staff, especially at Sugar Beats. Most of the staff was generally friendly and smiley:). Hotel was modern, and clean! Very visually pleasing.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, they went above and beyond. We used the kids facilities at the Holiday Inn everyday for our 1 year old, and we loved the pools and restaurant. The breakfast selection was great.

Location of hotel was great, as its near the Ferry Terminal and Plaza Lagoi. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Basically everything was well taken care of, and we can really just relax and enjoy the holiday.

Only complaint was the smell of the bathroom (management need to figure out what's going on in room 190!)

This is an exceptional hotel. Beautiful location, amazing architecture and fantastic staff. Food and facilities all were great. This is a superb 5* hotel and probably best place on Bintan (certainly the best value)

Box Jelly fish and closing of the beach should have been informed earlier. We was bringing our own Freediving gear, this would not been the case if we knew about the closing of the beach.

Loved the service, the facilities, enjoyed my stay throughly. I wish there were more food choices, but I’m sure because it’s new, it will get even better as we go along. However, the in room dining nachos was amazing.

The pillows are a tad too soft even after stacking 2 pillows. Would be good if the restaurant offer less overlapping food options and more food that are suitable and less spicy for juniors.

It’s only 15 mins ride away from the ferry terminal. The property is new, very tasteful done with relaxing resort vibes. Love the little details in the room & surrounding landscaping.
