Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Inara review Our stay at the hotel was unforgettable. The property itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing and welcoming vibe that made it a joy to spend time in and switch off from the outside world. The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful area of Balinese countryside set amongst the lush rice fields and away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. A shuttle was available for transfers to the town. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. Every dish we tried was not only delicious but also presented with real care, turning each meal into something special. There were 2 restaurant options; Asian and western style food which also gave us enough variety. Evenings were made memorable with the hotel’s thoughtful entertainment. We were lucky enough to enjoy some fire dancing and live Balinese music which was both captivating and culturally enriching. What really set this place apart was the staff. They were always kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect for us. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly it went above and beyond what we had hoped for and left us with amazing memories. We hope to stay again in future.

AustraliaUnfortunately the spa service was a letdown for us. I did a Balinese massage and bath. It wasn’t communicated to me before that the bath would be in the same room as the massage (a bathtub next to the massage table). Because we did a couple’s massage, this meant that I was awkwardly taking a bath when the other masseuse was still finishing the massage for my husband. The bath was also very average and way over priced for what it was. Other details of the massage were disappointing too e.g. towel not feeling very freshed, biscuits being very stale. Would not recommend having spa here.
Exceptional stay! Would totally come back again. - The butler service is amazing and sets a high bar for all the rest of our stays in Bali. - The design of the whole hotel is truly unique and we feel it represents the Balinese culture well. - The most incredible food we had throughout our entire trip! Love the breakfast. - Best bathroom and shower. A few more things to note: - It’s in a remote location (took us nearly 3 hrs from the airport, it’s 30mins from Ubud centre). We didn’t mind the location as this was our first leg of the trip so we enjoyed looking around. Because of the location you get to see the real Bali and local people’s lives. - While the rooms are fantastic they’re not necessarily sound proof. We didn’t have any problem and it was really quiet at night.

South AfricaIt’s a very beautiful place, right beside the rice fields. It was very calming and relaxing, with water flowing around you and ponds have large fish swimming in them… just special! The staff is super friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay exceptional. I loved that it was not too big and they played great music by the pool. And Sugi in the Spa gives you the best massage!

United KingdomOne small thing and it’s not the hotels fault but it’s quite a humid area so the bedding can feel a little damp when you get into bed at night, we had the aircon set to dry mode whenever we were in which did seem to help.
Everything, location is great for a relaxing break, breakfast was fantastic, room was modern & clean, facilities like pools and gym were clean and well maintained and the hotel staff were fantastic.

HungaryWe have traveled to many places and stayed at various accommodations, but nothing has ever compared to this. Our suite was incredibly spacious, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet, peaceful, and refined – truly the perfect choice for our honeymoon. The staff deserve special praise for their exceptional kindness and attentiveness; they were always ready to help with anything we needed. The on-site restaurants offered a rich variety of delicious dishes that delighted us every time. We are deeply grateful for the outstanding service and for the warm, beautiful, and impeccably maintained environment. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️🥰🙏

FranceThe housekeeping was sloppy. When I opened the patio windows doors, I found broken glass on the floor. Unfortunately, I cut my foot. This could have been much worse if my young daughter had stepped on it.
The staff were wonderful, always smiling and helpful. The property is stunning, with well-maintained grounds and great facilities.

Hong KongNothing. (It's located 30 minutes away from Ubud town which some might consider too far but we didn't mind it at all because we were planning to stay in the hotel for our entire stay anyway and Ubud town is not really worth visiting except for restaurants. Also they have a free shuttle service to town area)
Everything was near perfection. All the facilities and views of the rice fields were amazing. The restaurants were nice (we preferred the Asian one). We had a cooking class which was great. The lagoon pool was long and perfect for laps. There was also a hot tub by the main pool. The bed was comfortable. We could stay there for a couple of days without leaving the hotel premises! The best part was the staff - they weren't just friendly, helpful and professional but they actually seemed excited to see you and having you participate in their events (they hold different events on every day of the week, i.e. DJ by the pool on Thursday) and really made us feel welcome and at home. There might be more luxurious places in Ubud with grander facilities but for the price Inara is offering we couldn't find anything wrong with it and would definitely come back.

Switzerland-
We had an amazing time at this hotel. The property is beautifully designed, with a serene and inviting atmosphere throughout. One of the absolute highlights was the whirlpool – such a treat, especially since the pools at our previous stays in Ubud were all quite cold. This one was warm and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The restaurants were excellent – the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a treat. In the evenings, the hotel offered special entertainment that made our stay even more memorable. One night, we experienced a traditional Balinese dance show, which was truly impressive and culturally enriching. On another evening, there was a live singer with a guitar performing – such a lovely and atmospheric experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area – it exceeded our expectations in every way!

NetherlandsThe only thing to note is that the resort is a bit off the main area, and the road leading there is still under construction. Hopefully, it will be completed soon to make access easier
This resort truly has everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The area is peaceful and calm, making it the perfect escape from the busy city. We especially loved the beautiful view of the rice fields from our room – it was simply stunning. Our room was spacious and well-designed, and the bathtub with an outdoor view was a highlight. The food at the restaurant was excellent – great quality and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to help, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We will definitely come back again if we’re ever in the area. Highly recommended!

SpainInara Aras Harum was for sure one of the best, if not the best, place we stayed during our visit to Bali. You might think it's remote location to be a handicap when you reseve, but for sure you appreciate it once you're there. The peace and quiet you experience, with a view of the rice fields from your vila are truly a gift from this place to your mind. We came here for our honey moon and stayed at one of the vilas, which included a swimming pool and an outside bathtub, and it was very worth it. The staff as well is very friendly, and are always attentive to help you out.

We lived in the three bedroom villa which was newly built in 2024. Everything is new and well maintained. We have a big pool and a butler and all staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is very yummy, we also ordered room service which is also yummy. Villa is offered complimentary afternoon tea which is very delicious. And we also attended farm walk, kids hat painting, complimentary photography, and couple spa. Everything is perfect and we look forward to coming back soon!

United KingdomThe location was a bit off. Hopefully, when the road will be constructed it will become more accessible.
The whole resort has such a peaceful and calm vibe. We enjoyed every bit of our stay there, from well decorated rooms to infinity pool. From stepping into the resort and warmly welcomed by Wahyuni to the smooth check-out process, everything was spot on. The food quality of restaurants inside the resort was top-notch. They offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, which is very rare when it comes to most of the hotels and resorts in Bali. I was mostly scared of insects, but I haven't encountered any in my room, provided that the resort is in the middle of rice fields and jungle. I will definitely choose Inara again whenever I visit Bali.
