The water pressure is not that great

Stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful - when there was an issue with my original room, I got a free upgrade no questions asked. What made this place special was how welcoming the owner was. Got great recommendations for local food and places to visit, plus help with motorbike rental for exploring Dieng Plateau. I even had a fun jam session playing angklung with my ukulele - such a cool experience! The location is perfect too easy walk to town center with lots of yummy traditional food nearby. Felt like staying with family rather than at a hotel. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again!

The family that runs it is so unbelievably kind. I miss the sweet lady so much already. She would make sure I was always fed, taken care of, and went above and beyond to help. She just wanted to help all the time! She even stayed up with me waiting for my driver who was arriving past midnight and kept offering to cook for me even though it was so late. Very genuine, sweet, kind, beautiful woman! Big hugs ❤️

The shared bathroom is extremely small.

The owner is extremely friendly and makes a delicious breakfast. The location is ideal for a trip to Dieng.

The owner is so sweet. She really wants your stay to be the best! She told us all the places to go around and where to eat. And the bonus part is that she makes the best breakfast 💖 and they are so big that you can only eat half and keep the other half for lunch😁 really recommend that place!!!

It was on a small road, but a cut through for motorbikes. So really noisy. Very small room with tiny bathroom with no sink. But what do you expect for the price?!

Really friendly smiley family who made our stay so special. We had fun conversing in broken English. Always tea and coffee available. Tasty fried rice and egg for breakfast. Short walk to the Town Square/Alun Alun.

The breakfast wasn’t vegetarian/vegan which was difficult to communicate (not the hosts fault). The shower is not hot but you get used to it. We were not given bedding, and when we asked we were given blankets that did not smell clean. The bedroom door did not have a lock, which was the main thing we did not like.

Good location and very friendly host. As a guesthouse it’s a fine place to backpack.

Great place to stay. Welcoming people trying to help you with anything basically. Was heading to Dieng early in the morning and I got a breakfast on the way despite my very soon departure. Free tea all the time. Location near the street food where you can try local speciality mie onglok. Morning views on the twins volcanoes Sindoro and Sumbing from nearby graveyard.

Ngaso Dalem is decent place to spend night in Wonosobo. The receptionist and the owner is very friendly and understanding and tries their best to accommodate our needs. Being at Ngaso Dalem felt like being at home, I love the atmosphere there waking up in the morning, and having breakfast at the terrace in front. The room is huge for its price, it doesn't feel cramped at all sharing it with 3 other friends, the breakfast is good too. This place is just few mins walk to Wonosobo Alun-Alun, just in case you'd like to chill outside especially in the morning or afternoon. Will return to this place again when visiting Wonosobo next time

We arrived at the homestay at 8 pm only to find our room wasn't ready, despite our WhatsApp messages throughout the day. There were no blankets provided, and when we requested one, they attempted to charge us a laundry fee. After returning from dinner an hour later, we found the gate locked without notice, forcing us to jump the fence, and there was no sink in the bathroom.

I was there for 15 minutes in which I caught at least 10 mosquito bites. The entire place was not to my expectations; my mistake because I blindly relied on the great reviews. The two elder ladies tried their best to accommodate me though. I ended-up leaving my lugguage there to find myself a hotel in the neighborhood. Fazit: When booking a room and you can’t cancel it once it’s booked, there is most likely something fishy about it.

The accomodation is a homestay, she have diferent kind of rooms and different prices. we stayed in the "economic room", which is basic, but the price is very low, with breakfast! Very clean, towels and blanket smell very nice. The hostesses are super welcoming and friendly. Local and good breakfast. Very good location, near Alun Alun Square.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We couldn’t have chosen a better home to spend Christmas. Everyone is so kind and the atmosphere in the house is really cozy! The breakfast is lovely, the rooms are good and the host is just the best!

Water pressure. Also hard not to burn or freeze yourself in the shower.

Veeeeeery friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. The owners go out of their way to be as helpful as possible, even though there can be a language barrier.
