This place was my favourite place in all of Flores. It was spacious and a lot of space for the kids to run around which was lacking in other places. It was out of town and there were beautiful views a few minutes walk from the property. Wish we had stayed for longer

Such a lovely place! Situated outside Ruteng between green rice fields near a small hill with stunning views we felt very much at home here. Udis and her staff cooked dinner and breakfast for us. Udis took us for outings to Ranamese crater lake and shopping in Ruteng market. And she speaks very good English so we could talk about all kinds of topics. Thank you. Udis!

We enjoyed our stay so much we extended a night, just to continue being in the quiet and tranquility of Reuteng at hobbit hill. Great breakfast (and dinner on request), super lovely to eat on our own little patio area. Wonderful views and a beautiful area around Reuteng to explore by scooter. Fresh mountain air. A little out of town which was perfect. Owner and staff were very kind.

Our room was clean and functional. It is a great for one night. The private patio we had was incredible. The staff provide you with hot water everyday and the equipment to make your own tea or coffee.

The bathroom and shower room could be better.

Udis is the best. With all of her tips for trips. We did todo villages which was very nice and interesting. Even the kids loved it. She was the best help with my little accident and her connections with the docter were very helpful. Bian was the best and most funny driver/ guide to drive us around. Udis is all ❤️.

No holes in the road😉 but that’s not Hobbit hills responsibility.

    Property response:

thank you so much Maarten and sorry about the holes on the street near the rice fields 🙏

Great views, very friendly staff, great breakfast and accommodated my gluten allergy, located just outside town so quieter but still close to everything. Sunset is amazing from here!! Wish we could have stayed longer but it was all booked up! Would recommend this over a hotel. We had to move to Spring Hill Hotel because of no availability here and we liked it here a LOT more. The only benefit of the hotel was hot water for longer but that’s entirely unnecessary.

    Property response:

thank you so much for your great review 🙏

It was a simple room, small bathroom, but worked well for us. Our front porch had seating and gave us a good view over the city. The host is very friendly and speaks excellent English having lived in Australia in the past. Our first night we arrived late and asked if a meal could be done got us - the host kindly cooked a chicken dish we enjoyed for a good price. You can also order great pizza from the local Italian restaurant which they deliver by motorbike (using WhatsApp).

Not didn’t like, but just be aware it’s a distance from the town (over 30-40 minute walk). No problem if you have z car or motor bike.

The owner family is very nice, the view is great and the dinner is very good. There is hot water even if the tank is quite small. The room smells a bit damp

The property is in a beautiful spot on a hill just outside Ruteng. Seemingly female run and they are so sweet and helpful too. They provide breakfast as part of the room rate and will also provide dinner at an incredibly good price and as long as you give them notice. They have updated and you can get WiFi though it’s better in the open sitting and eating area.

    Nothing

The room was simple but big and clean. Udis made us an excelent indonesian dinner. She helped us to organize the trip to rice fields and transfer to the next destination. Despite the rainy weather we had a very pleasent stay.
