This place is a gem. The cabins are cosy and well situated in a beatiful garden. Very considerate host. My friend got sick and she provided home made tea and fresh fruit. There is a big kitchen for socializing and cooking. Much eye for detail on what self guided travellers need. Everything is thought of.

Fantastic spot. We regret that we stayed only for 2 nights in this great place. Our boys learned how to surf, met some interesting people from around the world the world, Tina and the team were great and very helpful hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great. The location is excellent – very close to the beach, with nice places to eat nearby and a traditional market where you can buy local products. It’s also possible to rent a good-quality scooter and surfboard at affordable prices. Tina is a wonderful host – very friendly and helpful. She assisted us with everything, starting by sending us a list of all the places worth visiting. We felt really good staying here and honestly recommend it to everyone. :)

Lovely houses close to the beach. This was the cleanest kitchen we have seen/used in 1 year. Good bed and quiet location. Staff super helpful and friendly.

A little bit isolated without hiring a motor bike

Staying at Harry's Ocean house was a treat. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Communication both in person and on line was always clear and informative. After almost 2 weeks the staff felt like family. The bungalow was cleaned regularly and any maintainance issue was solved promply. The gardens were refreshing, the kitchen was clean and a pleasure to use, hire of motormike was easy and information about the local area, food , surfing and attractions was always available. Always a friendly atmosphere among other guests and in the shared kitchen. I loved my stay at Harry's and miss it already.

Nothing negative on the property. Please be aware (as mentioned in other reviews) that the location is great for surfing. When it comes to female travellers hoping to get sun-tanned, Pacitan may not be the right place as it is advised to wear shorts and a t shirt on the beach. Lastly, make sure to research the nature spots nearby as the city life is not very active.

The place has a very cozy and warm feel, the houses are well situated with a great feeling of privacy. The kitchen has all utensils, free coffee and tea and even water. On top of that, we were allowed to use the host’s washing machine to do our laundry for free. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, with room cleaning every day. The AC worked perfectly and the outdoor bathroom (non heated water only) was awesome. Just what one needs when it gets warm outside. The beach is within walking distance and the location is great for ordering food/taxi. Definitely recommend this place for your stay :)

Its very comfortable to stay here. Very tidy room,kitchen,shower room and so on. Every room is cleaned everyday. Also the staff are kind and helpful.So nice! We can hire the motorbikes, the beach is close to here. We will visit again next time. Thank you

Beautiful place right by the sea with a serene ambience but social setting — I really enjoyed my stay here in Pacitan. It was perfect to wind down, enjoy nature from hiking to quiet beaches and trying surfing for the first time with an excellent teacher! Highly recommend. Humble thank you 🙏🏼

Feels like a luxury bungalow with a homestay vibe and price. 3~5 minute walk to the beach. Soft bed and linens, fresh flowers around the room, clean and well appointed. But the staff was a real bonus. So friendly and so helpful. I left an important charger there, and she went out of her way to message me and have delivery arranged to my next hotel. Extremely kind. Highly recommend.

. Property was perfect - only issues we had were the surf wasn’t great so we didn’t have heaps to do (but Tina’s recommendations helped!). We had a friend who came the next week and lucked out with waves. Girls, I wouldn’t come here for sunbathing as bikini on the beach isn’t really culturally acceptable here - not necessarily an issue just something to be aware of

Harry’s Ocean House was a great place to chill out for a few days, with a real family feel. Our bungalow was beautifully decorated, clean and with a very comfortable bed, we slept soooo well. The communal kitchen was welcoming and had all the equipment we needed. The beach was great for strolling along with virtually no one else there. Thanks in particular to Tina for making us welcome, for lending us bicycles and for sorting out our onward transport. We are happy to give Harry’s Ocean House 5* and recommend it to others.

pacitan is sort of a nothing town. i think it is for serious surfers mostly

the room and the facilities were nice. we booked a little bungalow with ac and hot water and it was great. i cannot speak to the other room types. the staff was frienldy and helpful.

Harry’s is a clean and comfortable home stay, with a relaxed and open vibe. The owner and staff are keen to help you and are most welcoming. What’s more, the stay offers the possibility to rent surfboards and mopeds to explore the sea and the town. I would recommend Harry’s to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay at Harry’s Ocean House! The location was stunning, offering easy access to the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Special shoutout to Gayung, who was an amazing surf instructor! We also rented a scooter easily from the homestay, which was super convenient. The bungalows were cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The common area was always lively with fellow travelers, creating a wonderful, relaxed vibe. Highly recommended!

Minor improvement to recommend. The dorms are an external balcony with exceptional view of the night sky. but where I slept there is a street light shining in my face all night. Also some hot nights with no wind were hard to sleep. It'd be good to have personal fans installed and blind from the street light.

The host Tina was absolutely amazing, helpful from your previous stay to next. Good vibes, beautiful complex and plenty of things to do/meet people. Probably is the biggest highlight of my trip and stayed much longer than planned just like most people. Two people from the other side of the island have recommended that I stay at Harry's and so did I once I got back.
