The location was very convenient — close to the city centre and within walking distance of One Batam Mall. All the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

However, cleanliness was a serious issue. On arrival, the pillowcases and bed sheets had stains, which were not replaced the following day. The floor did not appear to have been vacuumed properly. Although we had booked a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation system, which persisted throughout our stay. We did encounter a problem during our visit, but the manager handled it promptly and professionally. That said, the children’s programme was minimal and run by just one person, who seemed reluctant to arrange outdoor activities. On the whole, all the staff were very friendly and courteous, but the cleanliness and smoke issues need urgent attention.

Location is near the Batam Centre ferry terminal.

The location and they have nice scents in the public areas and the lift. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Once morning we asked the cleaning staff to make up our room and they did so promptly.

The hotel is a bit run down. The room doesn’t have a comfortable chair to sit in. It’s either a dining room style chair behind the desk or the bed. The shower is a fixed head only. It’s low for a tall person and ladies will dislike that their hair gets wet. Also the shower screens do not really stop water getting on the floor, the floor was super wet after two people shower. The connected building is abandoned and unmaintained. It’s very present when you are at the pool. The pool areas is uninviting overall. Limited shade not even using sun umbrellas. The breakfast spread is quite limited and average quality. The gym had a musky smell, some aroma scenting there wouldn’t hurt. All in all, with a few tweaks, the hotel can be much more inviting and comfortable. It doesn’t have to cost much, but will elevate the guests’ experience a lot.

From the outside and the lobby it looked very nice. The staff was very nice as well. But the rooms are very dated, filthy and broken.

The rooms were dirty. There was blood on the pillows. When we complained, we got another room with the exact same issue. Sheets and pillows were dirty and still from the previous guest. Coming to the third room, which had been personally inspected by the manager we found dirty sheets yet again. This time the manager was around and we went through two piles(!) of „clean“ sheets with housekeeping before finally settling on semi clean sheets. There was no real window in the normal room. The „window“ was inside so it was very dark.

Price is okay. Breakfast good. Have swimming pool. Have band at night.

Breakfast is same same every other day. Room is so dark even the whole hotel. Proper lighting would be better. Facilities is old and not properly maintained. Bed sheets and towels are looks dirty and a bit smelly. Bathtub is really old.

Hotel was a bit dim. The light is dim even the room was a bit dark. Not properly maintain the rooms and facilities.. Bed sheet and towel is dirty always dirty not white even we ask to change it. It still dirty and a bit smelly.
