We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

New ZealandThe bedding was synthetic which was so sticky to sleep with.
The gardens are private and quiet and so will tended. It's a little paradise. The room is pretty basic but had everything I needed including Aircon and a table to work at in the terrace, a bath and a day bed. Because the bathroom is outside is tricky to keep pristine but they did their best. Even though there's no breakfast they arrived with a lovely thermos for coffee or tea every morning.

Very friendly, helpful & attentive host. Free tea/coffee each morning on the porch. Beautiful garden/temple area within the homestay. Quiet side street & easy to get anywhere you want.

New ZealandWe travelled in a family group and checked out after one night of our 4-night booking. It was not suitable for our family, and I wouldn't stay here if I was a solo female traveller either. But would be ideal as a backpacker on a budget. Bring insect repellent (You will need it! Even sleeping in the net), toilet paper and soap are not provided, and you will have to request suitable bedding. Our bed only had a bottom sheet and a winter blanket.
The location was good, such a cool local street & was quiet at night.

The homestay has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a peaceful garden that feels very authentic to Ubud. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing night. The hosts were kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The location is also great—quiet enough to rest well, yet still close to the center of Ubud.
