The only small minus was that a tiny insects showed up in my room, likely coming in from the shower area. It wasn’t a big issue and didn’t spoil the experience, but it’s worth a quick fix.

Overall, my stay was excellent. The team at the front desk and around the property were genuinely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The room I booked was bigger than I expected, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

Some little things would go a long way to making the room feel a little more comfortable - the towels were old and rough, there were no mosquito plugs and the bathroom had a window without screens so meant the mosquitos could get in.

A simple boutique hotel, in a great location if you’re looking to head to Atlas or Finn’s with some great restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was simple but nice, great bed and bathroom. Bathtub was a nice touch.

The location of the hotel was fantastic — we were able to walk to the beach and nearby spots with ease. The room design, the carefully chosen decor, and the overall atmosphere were absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly sweet and always smiling, which made us feel very welcome. We had only one night staying with guru, definitely will come back. Very welcoming and nice staff, make you feel like at home. The room is well set and comfortable , shower water is big. Location is near the beach, nice restaurants and bars. But the room is very quiet. Nice hotel and nice price and nice everything.

We loved our stay at the Guru Canggu! Especially due to the most wonderful staff, they were so so welcoming and helped us with any requests we had! They made our stay very enjoyable and fun. They organised a driver to bring us to our next destination. This driver brought us to a coffee plantation without being asked to. Locals advised us afterwards that this was a bit of a scam for tourists. It's possible this shouldn't be a direct reflection on the hotel however!

Excellent value for money. Staff were really helpful - they facilitated late check in for us and provided us with a welcome drink. Our room was spacious and clean. The location is great - you can walk straight down the road to the beach. Also close to lots of cafes and restaurants. You can use the pool 24/7 which is fun. It's a very small hotel with only a few rooms, so it's always nice and chilled. It's also off the main street so super quiet, which is great as Canggu can be a bit hectic!

The property was in a very convenient location 5 min from the beach and close to everything that we wanted to go to. There were tons of shops and cafes around. The property itself was a very cute and beachy vibe. The room was very clean and spacious and the hotel provided us with everything that we needed. The staff was exceptional and greeted us everytime with such happy smiles and they went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Upon arrival, they immediately took our bags for us and gave us welcome drinks. They also helped us with any questions we had. When we were checking out, we accidentally walked in while they were having a staff meeting and the owner was there. The owner was vey friendly and accommodating and took time to have a conversation with us. We overheard a little of their conversation from their team meeting and from what I could tell, the owner takes very good care of his staff. I highly recommend this stay and would definitely stay here again if I come back to Canggu

We really loved our stay at Guru Canggu! The location is great, it is only a few minutes walk from the beach and there are many great caffees and restaurants nearby. It is pretty good that the place is (a little walk) distant from the busy road, as it is much more quieter there. Each and every member of Guru Team was super friendly and helpful. The whole place is very nicely designed, the room and the common spaces as well, I really loved it! We'd come back anytime.
