Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHad quite a few ants but that is to be expected in Asian countries. They were annoying as they kept climbing all over the headboard of the bed.
The location is close to Kuta Beach. It's close to nearby cafes. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.

United KingdomWe didn’t book a pool view which meant we were in a totally different building than the photos showed. Far away from the pool and reception area.
Room was clean and a good space for the night before our flight out of Bali.

AustraliaAll good … difficult to find the first time
This property has an Olympic length pool open all hours for quiet bathing There are no other facilities at this accommodation including there are no building other than the bedrooms - no food - no reception. It is difficult to find and entry is by a covered lane off the Main Street opposite the Royal hotel. Most taxis will not know where to drop you in the Main Street so the royal hotel is a good reference point .. then a 50 metre walk with luggage through a lane not big enough for a car. These are not complaints as I have stayed here several times and very happy with the location to everything at Kuta beach and good value for money - no facilities other than the pool but everything is in walking distance … 5 minute walk to Kuta main beach The rooms are neat and clean the staff friendly with not a lot of English and the actual hotel difficult to find the first time.

AustraliaSo many rooms being worked on. Grass and garden need attention. No real driveway for pickup and drop off by cars, but some Bali drivers could do it I'm sure
The room and pool were awesome. Bed super comfy. Staff helpful

ArgentinaThe people from the reception were very unhelpful. They charge more expensive at the reception than in booking. They don't help much with questions you may have. But overall was ok.
The room was ok, it's a pretty calm place. The people who work there were nice.

IrelandThe room I stayed in was not in the building shown on booking.com. The cheapest rooms are located a bit away from the hotel in, what I would describe as, a traditional Balinese housing compound complete with ducks, pet dogs, cats, etc. No major problem, but I just would have liked to have known before booking. This is an issue booking.com should address. This particular section of the property is quite unlit at night-time. On the plus side, the family who live onsite in this section are fantastic people - super friendly and just really nice.
Staff and the locals who live at the hotel were by far the best thing about the stay. Very, very friendly and nice people. Rooms were excellent. Good a/c, bathroom facilities, fridge, etc. Location is 5*. Close to everything in Kuta - beach, shopping, restaruants, etc.

MalaysiaThe toilet had a weird smell sometimes and if you look closely the tiles of the pool looked brown and dirty so I didn’t dare swim in the pool however the pool is really big. The tiles should be changed!!
Honestly this is such a great place! Our rooms were amazing! Really big and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s walking distance to kuta beach and other shops/restaurants. Loved it!

IndiaCleanliness could be been better. Wash basin was not cleaned properly and shaved hair from previous stay was found. No proper display board for the hotel. The streets outside were unhygienic compared to our other stay at Kuta and Ubud.
We were provided rooms within their home complex and not in the hotel complex. Looked more like a home stay. Lots of pets around. Still, just to sleep the night and get ready it was convenient enough. Provides geyser facility. Bed was comfortable. Multiple Charging ports present. This place has Mosquitoes, but manageable if you keep your rooms closed.

United Kingdom-We were put in the old buildings not the new building that you see in the pictures that has a swimming pool, false advertising really. -The entrance to the accommodation isn’t nice walking down a dirty alley that smelled of urine -Bathroom didn’t have an mosquito net to cover the gap in the window so we had to catch them everything we used the bathroom.
Good location, near the airport, good air conditioning, fridge in the room, modern design of rooms.

Very central stay, walking distance from the beach and central Kuta. The car park was very handy, even if the entrance was really tight even for a small car. The swimming pool is huge and very scenic. The AC was working well, the TV also. Beds were comfortable.
