The villa was in an amazing quiet spot away from the min road with the sound of the river in a serene setting. Owners and staff were loveley and helped with everything I needed.

This property in a rural location is a great place to relax after the busyness of the cities in Java. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, the staff are wonderful and friendly. The meals provided were the best I have eaten on this holiday. The pool area is very inviting and the pool is well maintained. I enjoyed walking in the plantation and seeing the local farmers at work. You can see Mount Ijen billowing smoke in the distance.

Phenomenal. This place really felt like home as soon as I arrived. The breakfast included is excellent. You also have the option for a home cooked dinner each evening which I could not recommend highly enough, one evening I had the best satay chicken of my life! It clean and everyone was so friendly. It really feels like a slice of secluded tranquility.

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful garden - through huge windows of your spacious room you can admire how well maintained it is. The area has a nice swimming pool with cooling water and sunbeds. Rooms are specious and super clean. Aris and his wife Lisa run this place with a lot of love, what you can especially feel in the delicious food they serve and the conversations you exchange :) thanks to their hospitality and help with organizing our trip to Meru Beitiri and Sukamade Beach we came back home with unforgettable memories. Do ask Aris about Sukamade and do not leave Kalibaru without going there.

There are only 4 guest rooms in total, so it might be hard to book in high season - but that also means a quiet and exclusive experience. Reaching the property by car involves a 2 hour drive from Banyuwangi or a 6 hour drive from Surabaya, on a very congested Jalan Nasional 3, so the best bet is to take the train and ask to be picked up.

A beautiful and exclusive property set in a large landscaped garden and bordered by a deep river. Traditional colonial lodge style architecture. Airy & spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Aris and his colleagues provide excellent home cooked meals. Lovely swimming pool enclosed in a mature garden grove. Congratulations to the owner for creating such a beautiful little paradise at one with its surroundings.

Expensive Transportation from and to the train station is not included, which we did not anticipate. As there are no alternatives one has to choose this option or walk for 45 minutes. Ijen tour would have been very expensive.

Great garden! Beautiful pool! Delicious freshly cooked food also for vegetarians! Rooms are equipped nicely including a water cooker.

Everything was good.

Very kind and friendly staff! Beautiful grounds and pool. Excellent breakfast. A wonderful place to stay. We were here for paragliding and we could see the launch site from the garden so it was a great location too. We would stay here again.

The staff was really friendly and helpful and they made our stay amazing. The home cooked meals were really tasty and everything looked great. The room was specious, clean and tidy. The guesthouse grounds looked well maintained and the pool erea was nice and clean. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet area.

Beautiful little resort in a quiet area. Lovely gardens, clean and tidy. Hosts were so lovely and the food delicious. So nice we extended our stay. Definitely recommend. 2 Aussies on bicycles.

honestly this is one of the best accommodation in the area look no further the staff were unbelievably kind an my girlfriend and I will definitely stay here again when we visit her family in the are. thank you so much for the hospitality.

3 mosks near/next to facility. Contineus prayers on speakers from 1500 till 2300 and again from 0230 till 0700. We could not sleep, no rest got pain in head of volume of sound. Never would have booked if i would have known this.

All was perfect and in order, view was great, people very friendly. Just awesome..
