The rooms are small but clean. Bed was comfortable. It suits its purpose of visiting Bromo. Only 40 mins away from Bromo. Water dispensers to fill your water bottles were definitely a plus.

United StatesIt was difficult to get hot water in the shower. Not sure if that was temporary. We were directly across the street from a mosque which was extremely loud. We understood that we were in a Muslim village and we respect the call to prayer custom, but some people will find it very difficult to sleep during the call to prayer because it was so close to the hotel and early in the morning (5:30am?). There is a fan in the room, no AC. We knew that ahead of time. We kept the doors open and we were fine. It wasn't too hot. There was construction happening next door, but it wasn't too distracting. The hotel provided earplugs if you wanted them.
The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. The hotel food was great. Clean room. We had a nice view from our room over the town and hills. We could walk to another hotel for dinner and we could walk to a local market for groceries. Nice location. The car traffic wasn't too bad even though we were on the main road that jeeps took to Mt. Bromo. It was a good value homestay.
