Not much at all. Perhaps the bed covers could do with refreshing as they were a bit tired and had a couple of holes in them, but overall, our stay was perfect for the price we paid

The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. They were multi-skilled, ranging from cleaning, tending to the grounds/pool to cooking the most fresh and tasty food in the restaurant Nothing was too much for them. The grounds were super relaxing with amazing views towards the mountains.

My family and i staid at this location for a few days . The stay was exceptional, the views were amazing and the people are welcoming. Overall this was one of the best experiences. The villa is beautiful and clean.

It was quite a long walk into Sidemen village, up a very steep hill. Our room had insufficient lighting, so it was quite gloomy in the evening. The bathroom was semi-outdoors, so you expect a few insects, but there was a LOT of ants! Although the staff were very good and hard-working, there was not always enough of them on duty in the evening so service in the restaurant could be very slow.

Beautiful setting with lush, well-mantained gardens and a great swimming pool overlooking the forest. Fantastic rice terrace walks just a few minutes walk away. The food and beverage was good value and delicious, especially the pancakes and watermelon juice! Our room was a good size, had plenty of storage space and good AC. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

There’s nothing I can say that I didn’t like. The only thing that would say could do with some improvement, I got dinner one night, tuna steak, and it didn’t come with any sauce so the food was a bit dry. But that is also personal preference, and I’m sure is easily resolved.

There’s nothing that I didn’t like about this property. It exceeding my expectations. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect and accessible to the beautiful day club Koli Koli, and other places to grab food. Sidemen Rice terrace is a 5-7 min walk away, which incredible by the way, a must see! Pancakes were fantastic!

Nothing it was perfect

I had 6 nights at Griya Valud and it was just perfect, the room was so beautiful and extremely clean. Made and staff were wonderful, such fabulous hospitality that made my stay extra special. The pool looking over the jungle just exquisite not to mention the lily pond and lots of places to sit to just soak up the views,peace and atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The property was very well maintained and beautiful. The staff were extremely attentive and always available for any needs. It is located in a very beautiful area of Bali away from the busiest tourist areas. The pool is very well maintained and clean.

Sometimes you have to wait a bit longer for food. The AC is aiming right on the bed and automatically turns on at night.

Beautiful quiet location. Our room was lovely with a view over a gorgeous fishpond. Staff were very helpful and Sidemen is a great location. We were right beside rice fields where we could take a 3 kilometres walk through them.

When I came to room I felt dusty. I felt a little dusty because there was a lot of dust behind the bed, that is, between the wall and the bed. But it wasn't a big problem.

I am a solo female traveller, so the location wasn’t so great if you wanted to eat out in the evening. A taxi was the only way, or eat at the hotel, which was ok. Sidemen is very spread out so you will do a lot of walking. Being able to ride a moped or motorbike would be an advantage.

Amazing gardens and fabulous pool area. Very close to the rice fields - stunning scenery! I thought I was getting one of the ‘huts’, but was in the Marble Villa. It was comfortable with a spacious veranda. Made, the manager, let me look round one of the huts - truly beautiful. Great silver classes throughout Sideman. I did the Yellow Bridge one, and the one near the hotel going into the village was the best! Best shop is straight ahead of you at the top of the hill - doesn’t look much from the outside, but an absolute treasure trove inside!

Honestly, there’s nothing I can fault. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in recent memory.

My stay at Griya Valud was absolutely flawless. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always eager to accommodate our needs. With just four rooms currently (and two more on the way), the property offers a serene, intimate atmosphere, especially with its gorgeous pond and infinity pool. Our twin room was brand new, spacious, and impeccably clean, including the bathroom. The on-site restaurant also served delicious meals throughout our stay.

Griya Valud is a beautiful quiet green oasis! We stayed here for two nights. The staff is super super friendly. They helped us with arranging airport pick up and we could rent scooters directly from them. The cottage is spacious and bed is very comfortable! The shower had good pressure and water was warm. Breakfast was nice! Try the mixed vegetable omelette :) There is a nice walk through rice terraces and farm land just around the corner which you can enter for 25k idr. All in all the perfect getaway!
