    view is nice

no hot water (when we went the outside temperature was 21 deg. C) main door when closed was allowing a spanwise opening on the side burning garbage in front of dining area toilet not bolted to the ground and dirty shower area visible by a nearby construction site noone really speaks english enough to have a conversation about the facility, had to use google translate. to get to the facility you have to cross private properties and it is a very isolated area... we checked in but we didnt even spend the night there because of this and when we asked for the refund they refused it

    Property response:

Thank you for your review, we will improve. Have a good day. Sorry, we've provided information about the facilities available on site. We also offered other room options, but you declined. Regarding the construction, it's only temporary and not part of our property. Our place is located by the lake, so access is through a small alley. You can also compare other reviews, and it's not as bad as you say. Thank you.

    Nice view near the lake

At 5:57 AM, a very loud water pump started running and made noise for 90 minutes. In any Western country, you’d be required to wear ear protection working around noise like that. However, we were expected to sleep next to it, which was of course impossible. The staff said nothing and didn’t apologize, which made it clear this is a regular issue. I’m not even talking about the broken road, the location far from anything touristic, or the “hot” pool that was barely warm.

Helpful staff/owner. Chills place to stay while enjoy the view of danau and mountains.

No fan, but its okay since Kintamani most of time chills and cold place 😬.

Breakfast was tasty. Room was rustic but comfortable. 15 to 20 minute walk to get to restaurants for other meals. No mosquitos. Friendly staff. Very nice view of the lake and mountains.

We should have researched the location better to determine how far from dining options it actually was. We had to navigate a construction site to get to the room. Room might have benefited from a overhead fan and, in an ideal world, a refrigerator to keep drinks cool.

Breakfast very standard, my suggestion is to provide more option like jajan bali, pisang goreng, singkong rebus etc . there is no proper parking area, and there is no staff to help us to quit from parking area. I found guest before us, the car was stuck on the entrance, because he doesn't know the terrain

a lot of fly, the water is not smooth, the pool just drained, takes time to fill up and affect to the water in shower / bathroom

The cottages are exactly as described, situated just by the lake with a stunning view. The room is large, airy and comfortable for two people with a sitout balcony overlooking the lake. There's no fan Or AC so at first I was worried about that but it was pretty chilly at night so we didn't need them. The bathroom has stone flooring and very clean.

The access road to the cottage is not nice and during the afternoon there are lots of flies since it's so close to the water. They have a restaurant but it's basic and they order food for you from elsewhere so it can take some time. There's no wifi but for us it was refreshing as we could disconnect from everything.

New bungalow, good situation, small swimmingpool with hot water.

you can find the address with Google maps, but scooter required. Correct access path but it can be annoying for large motorbikes. By car, difficult. The service is minimalist. A good address for a short trek in the morning on Mount Batur, otherwise...nothing to do there! If there are neighbors, a family or a group, you enjoy the "atmosphere"! the bungalows are very close.

The host was so sweet and welcoming! She booked the batur tour for us aswell and after the walk the pool was great for some downtime (with a great view over the lake and mountains). The room was very clean with a beautifull bathroom

You can walk up to some places to eat, but the real center is pretty far. However completely fine for few nights

Most incredible location you could have if you like peacefulness and beauty. The pool is filled from the hot springs and is like bath water- and your view is of Lake Batur and the mountains. In the morning the mist rises off the nearby pond, and at night the clouds catch on the mountains. An incredibly nice couple owns this little slice of heaven. The banana breakfast pancake is to die for! I struggled to go to the commercial hot springs in town because it was hard to leave this property when the other guests gone during the day! If you do need a ride into town though, one of the owners will take you and pick you up later. The cabins are surrounded by lush greenery and little farm fields- all sorts of vegetables! Nice neighbors too.

Nothing important enough to overshadow the great stuff!
