Lots of dogs barking & the bathroom was a little weird with the shower & sink connected to the floor drain. It worked, it was just odd!

I’d say it was more basic than we expected. My wife and I travelled extensively in our 20s, we thought the facilities reminded us of places we stayed as travellers. Having said that, travelling now with 2 grown up children, it still ‘ticked all the boxes’

Excellent place to stay for a few days while exploring Munduk. The staff are very friendly, the food good, the views amazing. The staff helped sort out a last minute problem with our pre-booked taxi, finding an alternative driver from Munduk to Sanur - many thanks.

We are staying here for the 2nd time, this time our friend’s room didn’t have any hot water and our water heater or smth was making loud noise. Also, we asked the staff if we could have dinner at their place, they said yes, but when we came they said it’s not possible. It wasn’t a big problem because there is another cafe nearby

because we are in the mountains there were ants that were giving us a bit of an issue but i guess that’s what you sign up for with the location! it’s not something you should worry about much but this hotel should do a better job at fixing the issue!

the staff is great especially the gentleman that’s a bit older and leaner! they are ready to solve any issues you bring up and serve you! breakfast is delicious and the views are fantastic.

We did experience few very minor hiccups the day before check-out, likely due to the usual staff being on their day off. Our breakfast orders were mixed up, and the room hadn’t been cleaned when we returned from our excursion. Additionally, for a six-day stay, the location of our room was a bit inconvenient- motorcycle noise from the road started as early as 6AM, which disrupted our sleep. The water pressure in the shower, particularly when switching between hot and cold, was also inconsistent and not very comfortable.

We kick-off our anniversary vacation here and were genuinely touched by the personalized welcome, it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The staff were incredibly respectful and attentive, and the service throughout our stay was great. Having a convenience store right on the ground floor was also a plus. The room and common areas were spotless, and we appreciated the standard of cleanliness. Both breakfast and dinner were delightful, with the daily breakfast being a highlight we looked forward to each morning. We especially loved the Ayam Betutu at dinner—so flavorful and satisfying! The location offers some of the best views in the area and is conveniently close to scenic waterfalls, perfect for trekking. We enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood and discovering several cozy warungs and local restaurants. That said, renting a motorbike is highly recommended for exploring further, as Gojek and Grab aren't available in the area. The staff can help arrange rentals at more affordable rates. Do note that while major credit cards are accepted, there's a 3% surcharge, so it's a good idea to carry some cash to avoid extra fees. Overall, we felt that we were looked after during the whole stay. The team went above and beyond in helping us arrange transport and plan our activities. They were always ready to assist with a smile, and we’re truly grateful for their hospitality,

As I’ve said the price reflects the hotel whilst there are so many positives there is no a/c in the rooms and the property is quite damp. There were mouldy patches on the walls and a smell of damp in the air. A/C would definitely benefit this building!

This property reflects the price for sure. The staff went above and beyond to help with our stay, including cheap bike rental and activity recommendations. There is a mini mart and a great restaurant in the hotel too which are really good value for money and super yummy! The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy and the showers were nice and hot. The view from all balconies and the rooftop are absolutely stunning too. The hotel is in the perfect location the furthest we had to drive anywhere was only 30mins and you can walk to so many waterfalls, viewpoints, and restaurants too. Breakfast options are great, they come with a fruit platter and pot of tea or coffee each morning too :)

It would be great if they could fix the water, as when you flush the toilet, it feels like the toilet is about to explode. The water from the tap also splashes. You get used to it, but it’s a bit scary the first few times. In our room, cigarette smoke and the smell of grease from the cafe came in through the ventilation in the evening.

We stayed in the "Sideman" room. Upon check-in, you are greeted with fresh juice, which is a nice touch. Good location near an interesting trail through the forest. Delicious breakfast. Pleasant view from the room. Excellent internet, not noisy. The room has a balcony, a kettle with tea and coffee, some drinking water, and hot water in the shower. The bed is comfortable, though not large. Friendly staff. The room is bright. I recommend taking a walk in the garden downstairs. There are many interesting plants there.

Plug was located far from the corner where was the kettle and where you could place your phone to charge

Great location great views from the restaurant area its perfect f you dont mund staying out of munduk village or if you have your own car/motorbike ..if going to have dinner diwn in the village going uphill in the dark in a very busy road can be really sthing...my room did have only 1 plug and the bathroom did not have basin inside

The price is cheap - so do not expect big luxury

Very close to the beautiful waterfalls. Interesting to be there at the time when cloves are harvested. Super friendly personnel. Value for money!!!
