Really cheap private room with all the facilities, great to have a good rest and clean myself after a lot of hostels, also they offer really cheap tours and rents and they helped me with the boat ticket with discount

Our stay at Griya Nusa Homestay was honestly fantastic from start to finish. We had the 3-bed room, which was spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable. The whole property is well-maintained, with a beautiful garden area that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Location-wise, it’s in a great spot, just a 10-minute walk from Sampalan Port, which is super convenient if you’re coming from Bali or heading to the Gili Islands. No need to worry about transport or long transfers, huge plus! We also booked a snorkeling tour directly through them, and it was awesome and completely hassle free. Everything was well-organized and smooth, and we saw some amazing marine life without any stress. But what really made our stay memorable was the hospitality. The family who runs the homestay is incredibly kind and welcoming. A special shoutout to their son, who was especially helpful, his English is phenomenal, and he went out of his way to assist us with anything we needed. Super polite, professional, and a real asset to the place. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay in Nusa Penida, Griya Nusa Homestay is an excellent choice. Would absolutely stay again!

Host Abie spoke wonderful English and is a gem. Extremely good value for money.

Very close to the beach, nice room and bathroom. The staff were absolutely lovely, very accommodating and helpful! Abie was an excellent driver.

It's great.

The owners are really nice and Abie picks you up for free if you arrive at the closest harbor. The rooms are clean and good standard for the price from what I tried so far in Indonesia. Free access to drinking water and they've a kettle. You pay extra for breakfast which I tried one morning and it was really delicious and fresh!

Wouldn't hurt to clean a bit more, some dust and stains here and there but overall clean!

Short walk from Sampalan Port or 30 min by scooter from Banjur Nyuh Port - they organise transfers to/from the homestay if you let them know in advance for a better price than directly from the port. Well-located nearby lots of marts and restaurants, and 10 min walk from the night market. Homestay was cosy, comfy bed and hot shower. Abie and his family were so friendly and welcoming, helped organise a driver (shout out to Sandy) for a fab tour of bespoke spots. Breakfast menu had variety of options for very good prices.

Abi was great, and his English was excellent. Remembering that this is a tropical island in South East Asia, the room was clean and the shower and (private) toilet in the family sized room were the best you can get for this price. He was helpful and affordable in getting to and from the port, and I recommend using him as a tour guide or in making arrangements to dive, snorkel, sightsee, rent a scooter ,or catch a ferry to or from Denpasar.

Bali is a tropical place, so there will be ants and other pests outside. (The inside of the rooms were bug free).

Nice room if you travel to Nusa Penida for a few days, it was clean, the garden was very nice and it is close to a lot of nice beach cafes.

The host family were amazing, proactive and helpful in every possible way Abie was really on point with everything from pickup to arranging drop off Breakfast was delicious and priced well 🥞 🍳 They provide complementary drinking water something which I hadn't seen anywhere else in Bali u always had to purchase Beds are super soft and honestly hard to get up from them. Location is perfect to explore the East side and West side of the island as it's right In the middle Scooter rentals r plentiful nearby Money exchange 💱 without commission is also close Many local food joints nearby

Rooms are a little cramped having a lot of unreachable places which resulted in an cockroach infestation Many roaches were there Fumigation is needed Mattresses were stained but not dirty

Wi-fi is excellent. The rooms are nicely arranged and clean, tidy. We also rented a scooter from the host to tour the island. They are a wonderful family, they also took the boat tickets for us and bought the durian we wanted to try. The food is delicious, we had breakfast there every day. I would recommend it to everyone and I would come here again.

The price was cheap and the best was comfortable.

Good. Abie is young, enthusiastic and supportive - almost little too perfect to he real. Now we even have a new phrase “Abie’s standard”.

perfect place to relax in your own space, very clean and tidy, warm shower and had seats outside your room to chill, they offer to organise any trips around the island for a good price!

Had a lovely stay, Cakra and his wife were very welcoming and helpful, offering a pick up and drop service to the port. Very good value for money, cannot be beaten on price.

A very pleasant family, good small room clean, from the main harbor to the homestay is about 20-30 minutes. Cost: 150000 ir provided by the family. Highly recommended
