SingaporeVery happy with our stay for 4 nights at the Gran Melia, Jakarta. Good value. Warm service with a smile by all staff right from doorman (Defrizon) to concierge to bellboy (Mashal) to room service. We stayed in a deluxe king room which was clean, spacious with very comfortable beds. We did not take try the buffet breakfast but their F&B had good vegetarian options which we enjoyed. The hotel’s gym was one of the highlights of our stay… modern, with a good range of machines, equipment and weights. The sauna and steambath rooms were a welcome bonus. Definitely staying here again when we are next in Jakarta!

The service staffs are polite and helpful. The property is clean. I would like to mention Nabila at the reception , she was very helpful and did a great job. She helped us with the transport recommendations as we had special needs. She took care of our special needs while staying at the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the hotel room was spacious and so comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was even a staff who went around to the checked in rooms to check if we needed anything to be topped up in our room (e.g. water, toiletries) which was honestly surprisingly because I’ve stayed in a few 5 stars hotels before and none of them have this sort of service. We felt really special then 😂 Unfortunately did not take any photos because we were really tired before checking in (I flew into JKT suuuuper early in the morning and only checked in at around 3-4pm so I was exhausted by then) but amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing stay. Wish we were able to stay longer and will definitely consider it again when we’re back in Jakarta!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gran Melia Hotel in Jakarta, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the experience was flawless. The hotel’s design is simply stunning – a perfect blend of modern elegance and sophisticated comfort. Every corner of the property reflects impeccable taste, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt like a luxurious home away from home. The quality of food was absolutely top-notch. Whether it was a delicious breakfast or a fine dining experience, each meal was a testament to the high standards the hotel upholds. The breakfast buffet, in particular, was a highlight. There was a wide variety of options, from freshly prepared international dishes to local delicacies – all incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. What truly made my stay special, however, was the exceptional service. The staff at Gran Melia went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I would like to give a special mention to Rudi, who took the extra care to make sure my breakfast experience was nothing short of perfect. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel like I was being taken care of like family. The entire process, from check-in to check-out, was smooth and efficient, and I was always greeted with a smile. I can not recommend Gran Melia Jakarta enough – it’s truly a five-star experience in every sense. I can’t wait to return!

IndonesiaSince the hotel building starts to age, some small parts in the room are a bit dated and needs refurbish. However, it was not a deal breaker for me as they maintain the cleanliness and the overall stay was enjoyable.
The hospitality of the staffs was unforgettable. They were very friendly and always greeted me by my name. They were very attentive especially the person in charge in the pool area. They served delicious meals in both breakfast area and in-room dining. I got a free room upgrade which I really appreciated.
