However, disappointed with the food, which is not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel: we ordered fish that arrived half-cooked, ordered a steak with mashed potatoes, the mashed potatoes were cold. There were 5 of us and the dishes were not served at the same time which is a minimum for a hotel of this standing. For breakfast, yes there was a lot of choice for the buffet, which was ok but not exceptional either.

My wife checked in at 16:20 and unfortunately the room was not ready. When I insisted what went wrong the explanation they gave me was that the previous guest checked out late. They said they apologised to my wife and would make sure that this would not happen anymore in the future. What makes this much more disappointing is that 2 days before our arrival they informed about our arrival time. We said 15:00 if our flight from Bali would not be delayed.

The condition of the room was bad. It has a cracked window and sink. The bed linen was dirty and torn. The sandal was used and old. We can see that it was washed several times.

The hotel lobby was nicely furnished, the staff was polite. The room was very spacious.

Beautiful property on main road. Abt 30 min from airport. We got 2 connected rooms.

There was a flashing light from the smoke detector and there was music playing in the hallway. This disturbed my sleep, but I did inform the staff and they did sort the flashing light the next day. Dinner options were quite limited.

Really liked the quality of the rooms, we had interconnecting rooms with our kids so it was spacious and comfortable. Pool area was nice.

The room was very comfortable, with a work desk, and it was perfect for me since I work remotely using a laptop.

The room was clean and nice with a view of Surabaya city. I liked the bed sheets, but the pillow was a bit too high, and I felt uncomfortable when I woke up in the morning. We didn't really enjoy the breakfast; during our 3-day stay, my husband and I skipped it twice because we didn’t like the taste of the food. However, the hotel had a great and luxurious atmosphere, and the price was quite affordable.

If you order in the bar area there was a lot of confusion for paying later on having to get the bill from the kitchen which took enormous of time. To add we got told we can put our bill on the room and then out of nowhere we get told it is not possible… A bit disappointed

Not quite feels like 5 star hotel, mini bar door/cupboard wont close properly. Couple stain on bed sheet and pillows so need to mix and match which one ‘looks’ clean to be use. Tried to exit carpark when checking out in the early morning and nearly missed a motorcycle rider without helmet speeding against traffic on the exit line which is already narrow enough.

Shower fluctuated hot and cold at differing times of the day . No real connection between pool and bar/ restaurant ie had to use lift inside to order a beer, etc ... pool on level 6 , bar on level 7, limited staff at pool area .
