The size of the room, the fresh air and we got upgraded to a very spacious room. Staff is friendly and informative Room service is very slow but food is good and we encounter a problem with the water pressure and the hot water but they fix it right away

The staff were lovely. During breakfast on the second morning, they had a lady do a traditional Scarf dance. This was a wonderful way to start our day off. We loved looking at the small animal zoo and the many pools were great. Though they could have had a pool ‘towel station’ to have pool towels available rather than using our bathroom towels. Asked for two separate beds as I was traveling with my mum. When we stayed there it was a public holiday so they were fully booked so unfortunately they couldn’t move us to a different room.

There were lots of available rooms nearer to reception but we were given furthest rooms.

The entire hotel complex is large and so we travelled in the buggy, which when ordering came very quickly.

We found some live animals (water bugs and frogs) in the large pool.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The resort is large and conveniently close to mount Ijen.

The hotel is based on villas which are spread out around the site in complexes. We ordered a deluxe room which ended up being right at the back of the resort next to building works. We refused the room but had to pay an upgrade to be closer to the reception and dinning area. The bathroom door would not shut and let lots of light into the room at day break.

We chose this hotel as it was well rated and close to Mt Ijen, although we didn’t climb it. it was generally well maintained by Indonesian standards. We were in a large room with comfortable twin beds.

There are 3 or 4 mosques nearby and the prayer calls are not synchronized. So you hear multiple prayer calls at the same time and they all are loud. I wish they were at least synchronized

The room we rented, number 118, did not have good sound insulation, so the noise from the neighboring room, which happened to be occupied by a group of young people, was quite loud. Even though they were just having normal conversations, they sometimes laughed loudly and shouted, making our rest very uncomfortable. I reported this to the front office staff, but the security personnel were slow to respond, so I ended up calling the neighboring room myself and asked them to keep it down. The sliding door leading to the pool did not lock properly, which made us feel uneasy. The door lock seemed to have been tampered with, as there were visible pry marks. Although there were no incidents during our stay, the discomfort ultimately made me feel safer keeping our electronics and other valuables in the car parked not far from the room

The room is nice and clean, with two large beds accommodating four people. The bathroom and hot water are also good. Amenities are okay. The room is situated next to the pool and we can swim anytime we want.

Our sheets were dirty. We didn‘t have warm water at first and it took the staff until the next morning to fix it.

40 minute drive to ijen parking area so great location with rice paddy fields great views of ijen. 2 swimming pools. Excellent food with wide variety of choices. Enjoyed our stay.

Restaurant not good at all. I've stayed here several times this year (2022) and the service in the restaurant is very poor. Staff not attentive and get order wrong (order given in English or Bahasa). Cold food that should be served hot, cold hot drinks, breakfast buffet running out of food 90 minutes before over, undercooked chicken on 2x visits. A shame about the restaurant as the rest of the place is ok.

Great location for visiting Gunung Ijen.
