When they cleaned our clothes, some items got a little stained, and the breakfast is not the best quality.

Its really quiet and the facilities are amazing, the view from the pool and the access to the beach js also really useful.

Gorgeous property. The view was unreal the sunset in the morning was stunning. It was nice and quiet, breakfast was yummy. A bit far from town which we didn’t mind at all. But was a bit of a drive, just made sure we took everything we needed for the day when we went out.

Perfection and Serenity by the Ocean

There is honestly nothing I did not like!

I loved this place so much, I came back the day I checked out and checked in for another 5 nights! I had initially booked the deluxe villa but on seeing a smaller one right by the ocean, I swapped. It is away from the town of Amed (which was a plus for me) Away from 5G towers... (BIG PLUS and hard to find.) The sound of the waves lapping against the villa was so soothing. For me Gili Pesona ticked all the boxes. I am not a party goer or enjoy crowds, so the tranquility of Gili Pesona was perfect for me to do yoga in the by the pool, have a dip and do some writing on my little veranda overlooking the most spectacular view. The villa was spotless and having a fridge, water dispenser (cold and hot) was all I needed. The bed was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning was nice and cold, the and fan was sufficient to have on through the nights. The breakfasts were delicious and Gede and the staff could not do enough to ensure I had everything I needed. 10/10

The sea, although nearby, isn’t suitable for swimming — the rocky shore might remind you that you’re not at a water park. Since Amed is on the Bali peninsula, there are often strong winds in the evenings, which can be nice given the heat, but it’s not great for drying clothes — they might blow away, so tie them down tightly! The hotel is quite far from restaurants and the village, so you’ll need transportation. You can rent a bike right at the hotel, but taxis can be pricey. The roads in Amed are a whole different story: winding and hilly, so be ready for some adventures and take care of yourself. I would recommend that the owners replace the cold white light bulbs with warm spectrum ones; it would greatly enhance the hotel’s visual appeal.

A small boutique hotel on the edge of Amed consists of an upscale villa at the top with its own pool, a yoga gazebo, and a luxurious sea view that makes you think it might be time to write your travel novel.Downstairs is another deluxe villa with two rooms, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: a cozy living room, a kitchen, and even a bathroom (for those who don’t like to share!). On the second floor, there’s a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a huge balcony overlooking the sea. There’s air conditioning and a fan. The furniture is new, and the mattress and pillows are orthopedic — a special thank you for that! Closer to the sea, there are two small one-room cottages — they actually have the coolest sea view and enough privacy. By the sea, there’s a Buddhist stupa with lighting — be sure to check it out in the evening; it’s very beautiful and unusual. There’s also a secret path near the cliff that leads to a hidden bench with an amazing view of the sea. In front of the deluxe villa, there’s a pool where you can swim; it’s quite deep on one side, and there are sun loungers with umbrellas for sunbathing. Cleaning can be done daily upon request, and the staff is super friendly and always ready to help. They are at the hotel until 4 PM, but you can stay in touch via WhatsApp afterward. Now, about breakfast — omelets, banana pancakes, and fresh-squeezed juice from the lemons growing in the garden. So cute! You can also order delivery from restaurants, with menus available in the rooms. Keep in mind that delivery will be paid but not very expensive, and it takes about 40 minutes. Now for the downsides.

There wasn’t any hot water. Honestly this wasn’t a big deal as the water wasn’t that cold. Otherwise nothing to fault.

The privacy and outlook were so lovely. The sound of the ocean drowned out any other noise. It was like you were away from the whole world. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is situated at the far end of Amed away from all the busy parts. The roads are great for a scooter and this really is the best way to get around. It would be tricky getting a taxi from this spot. The villa was very clean.

We liked everything. However, in my opinion, personal transport is must, not a problem for us with a car, Motorcycles are good on these little roads. For a few Km's towards Amed the road needs repair but once you pass this the road is fine.

This little resort is super for families, only 8 bedrooms and there are little kitchens with 6 of the rooms. A cute little pool to relax at the end of a tough day diving. The hosts are lovely (Alan and Yuki) and very helpful. It's quiet and private. There are several "decent" restaurants within 5 minutes drive of the resort. Restaurants also deliver (but don't order complicated dishes they are not good after motorcycle trips, stick to Pizza and Nasi Goreng type dishes or go to the restaurant, we did both, next time we'll go out all the time. Great Value for money if you have transport.

Although there is WiFi, there is no phone network reception in the area. We had a storm that took out the WiFi and found we had no way of contacting anyone if the need arose. The hot water service is also very small. The hot water ran out in a few minutes under the shower. But being in the tropics it was not a problem, and it quickly recovered.

The entire place is very well kept, tidy and clean. Beautiful location built into the cliff on the edge of the ocean. The staff were totally great and helpful with any requests. We had the two story deluxe room with ocean views. Totally worth it. The place was super comfortable and quiet. Very nice clean pool. The landscaping is also exceptional. it was a total pleasure staying at this place.

Thank you for the opportunity to live in such a wonderful place! An amazing view, a secluded place, the sound of the wind and sea waves create a special atmosphere. High quality and very clean rooms, this is definitely one of the best place we have visited on the island. The beach house is very cozy. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

It is a bit far away from Tulamben (~45-55 minutes) and the road is not very easy. I've seen some diving spots closer, but I didn't have a chance to dive there and don't know how good are they, however I've seen guys going in trucks from there to Tulamben to dive at USS Liberty Wreck dive site and assume that it is better than near Amed.

There are few villas there and we lived in the one, that is located on the top part which is closer to the ocean. Our experience was absolutely fantastic and unforgettable. The master's room panoramic windows go out to the ocean. You can experience a sunrise right from your bed with a fantastic view on the ocean (and sometimes - on the mountains far away on a horizon). It also has its own bathroom with an outside douche (great experience at night when you can observe the stars). We enjoyed our private small pool and relax zone. This place is excellent for self-discovery, yoga, relaxation and instagram pictures/reels/stories. I liked the breakfast and it is possible to order food from the neighbour restaurants. The place is a bit far from the crowds which makes it perfect if you want to calm down and relax. It is not far from a beach, but I didn't have a chance to try it out, because I've spent the whole time there diving in Tulamben (and yes, it was a great experience!)

Genuinely couldn't fault anything. It was exactly as it was advertised. Beautiful villa overlooking the ocean. Peaceful but just a few kilometres from plenty of restaurants and excellent snorkeling. We hired a car and scooter to visit the stretch of coast and nearby sights. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We hope very much to return.

Laundry: its not managed by the property owners as i knew priory, but they allow the housekeeping to provide such service, however not all cloth were ironed, she should have at least informed that it was not enough time will still be happy to pay her in full for her honesty, its the first time where i felt cheated in Bali especially the price was 25k per kg which later i found in amed center for less price and even in kuta so avoid laundry service there. Employees: that staff is not available 24/7 on the property, at least there should be one that can provide service even late hours. location: far from amed center even by car, anyways i knew that prior to booking.

the view of course and that's the main reason what made me choose this villa in the first place its very astonishing. pool: its location center of the villa and you can just see the wide ocean from any point of the villa also while in the pool. ocean: the ocean being beneath where you can listen to the waves constantly and get consumed by the nature. the property in general: was clean and the owners were very friendly. privacy : seems i had to clarify this part due to some other comments, the property is like a resort holds different types room however for the halberd villa its totally private " yes there is common walking path that leads there at the end you need to enter and exit from a point, but its completely private villa. however for the other types are shared with other guests.
