What a unique place! The coolest hostel I've ever stayed in. My room was tiny but the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here.

Toilets and shower all in one. No soap by the sink. Quite enclosed spaces. Seemed expensive for a hostel although with limited options in Gili meno this is understandable!

Female dorm was very clean, comfortable and the air con was decent. Sociable hostel with lots of activities and friendly people.

Only saltwater in the bathrooms. Toilets and showers are not separated

Cute and creative unique rooms. Lots of spaces to chill by your own or hangout with fellow travelers. Location is close to nearby eateries, beach and snorkelling spots. Fabian (volunteer) made us feel very welcomed and showed us to good food spots and sunset spots on the island :)

    Humid conditions in the forest.

We stayed at one of the two private bamboo rooms, which are great BUT it's really really really moist in the room. It's beyond just humidity. We couldn't spot any mold like other reviews said, but the condition was the single reason why we did not extend our stay and headed on instead. The AC has a dry-mode, but the condensation on the unit simply drops back down on the carpet, repeating the cycle. Having the private shower with a tiny window in the room doesn't seem to help either. These rooms should really be re-worked, but that's all we have to complain about. We didn't expect much due to the low price, but it was still underwhelming. It was still clean in the room, towels and bed sheets were smelling fresh, so nothing to complain about there.

The Hostel is something really great. The layout of the building, the vibe, the staff and especially the daily evening activities. There are english speaking volunteers as well, who really pull everything together. The hostel is very affordable, has a mini kitchen to use but also serves food all day around. Pretty great, especially when you're looking for something outside the norm. The building is also spot-on in the center of the island, and you really literally can reach everything within a few minutes by bike (rent is 50k for 24h). We joined a movie night spontaneously, while munching some french fries - was a great way to end the day!

I’m not sure why this is the case but the shower water was salt water, not something we’ve experienced before while in Indonesia, it was a shock… didn’t feel like a proper clean.

This is a very interesting and fun hostel, located in the centre of Gili Meno. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There were daily activities as well as access to snorkel equipment etc.

The shower had quite weak water and also contained salt water which meant you had to shower in it, this is not the hotel’s fault but unfortunately how things are on the island. Lots of noise due to its proximity to the mosque, as others have mentioned.

The flexibility. It’s good to have a single room for yourself where you can get some privacy, but still be able to utilise the communal spaces if you want to socialise. Located in the middle of the island so its close everywhere. Great volunteers!

This is not the hostels fault, but there weren’t really many people there when i stayed. They really tried to make people join «family dinner», i really wanted to join, but we never could since we were never enough people. I also wanted to do the boat trip the hostel arranged, but the captain was not available aswel. Again, this wasn’t the hostels fault, but i was still sad. Besides that the volunteers are super good at finding other options to do, like movie nights, volleyball, snorkling, card games etc!

Very nice staff, they always helped you if there was anything. I really loved the volunteer aswel, she was super nice. The hostel is very cool made. I met some very nice people there. The food is also delicious, especially the smoothiebowl & yoghurt/granola.

Food was delicious, however as part of the hostel menu, maybe could be a little bit cheaper. Salty water.

The creativity of the place, really special and thoughtful. Staff and owner very friendly and super accomodating, social activities organized every day. Hostel is located exactly in the middle of the island so all beaches are accessible at the same distance. Quiet peaceful hostel with friendly vibes. 100% reccomended.

The sand inside the hostel makes it harder to keep the floor of the hostel clean :/ Also I felt the price was a bit high and without breakfast included. Would be nice to have that included and just a better floor to walk around in the common areas.

There's a lot of activities with the hostel, tours, food buffets, boat rides and the room I stayed had a very confy bed.

On the other hand, if you opt for a private room, which was our case, you'll be placed in a separate building that feels somewhat neglected. Unfortunately, the bathroom in this area has a strong sewer smell. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, leading to an overflowing trash in the bathroom and an overall feeling of uncleanliness. In summary, this hostel could be a good choice if you choose the shared dorms and want to enjoy the activities, but I wouldn’t recommend the private rooms.

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights. The place has a very cool design in the shared spaces, with a great atmosphere and a wide range of activities organized, for each day of the week. The staff is very friendly and the shared dorms seem to be quite nice. We also really enjoyed the buffet dinner organized by them.

The showers only operate with saltwater but I think that's a Gili Meno wide thing, so the hostel is not to blame.

The hostel is designed super comfortably and has a really nice vibe. There are many different chill areas in the hostel and they offer different activities like movie nights or sunset boat tours. They also have volunteers staying at the hostel, which was really nice. Nathan and Francesca were absolutely amazing and really made sure that there was a sense of community. I can only recommend this hostel.
