I was told that the breakfast begins 8 am, but the kitchen lady just begins setting up things 8h10 am. It seems that in Indonesia this type of delay to open is common, but this can be trouble for those that have early activities like diving.

My room was very comfortable. AC remote control is in the room so you can control the temperature. Mr. Ery was nice and very attentive. It is a party hostel that sometimes can be very loud, but does not pass 00h30. For me that was tolerable, but if you are very picky with this, then you could feel annoyed.

Should each bad has a small lamp because when you turn off the light it is dark. I am thinking and can’t find a bad thing . Just I was upset because of booking.com itself took 2 times booking whole payment from my account.

We had an amazing stay at Gili Beach Bum Hostel! The best thing about this accommodation is by far the staff. Every single staff member we came in contact with was so welcoming, kind, friendly and constantly going above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. If you have any problems or issues at all, the staff will truly help you as much as they possibly can. The hostel reps are also such great fun, B and Ice in particular!!! Thank you for everything❤️

The only downside for me was the absence of curtains on the beds, which made it difficult to have privacy in the dorm. Adding curtains would definitely improve the comfort and overall experience.

I had a great stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Eco, Eri and bee, they are always ready to answer questions and give recommendations about the area. The atmosphere was great and positive, which I truly appreciated.

A few suggestions to enhance the experience: Toilets: Since they are shared, they could use more regular maintenance (some doors don’t close properly) and more frequent cleaning — maybe every hour. I was well aware of the island status as party center and it definitely is that so no complaints I am however in the older category and would go for something more quiet next round but that not a bad thing just my preference

For the staff: please remember to put some lockers in all the rooms, so tourists can lock their valuable items. For travellers: my room was in front of the Lava Bar, which was pretty nice because of the cool music, except when I wanted to sleep... but with some earplugs, everything is fine.

Very loud at night, don't expect to get much sleep. This isn't exactly the hostel's fault and it just depends on the guests at the time of stay. It is a party hostel as well, so this is to be expected. Staff could clean the showers a bit more frequently. I stayed for 3 nights and the shower I used wasn't cleaned during my stay. I've had worse showers though :)

The dorm set up is very unique, I was unfortunate to have the bed on the opening side of the shared bathrooms of the dorms, but no big deal as I was sharing with quite respectful people during my stay! The dorm could use a few hooks near the beds, I think.

The staff was so nice and the location right next to the beach is very convenient. It's also close to the main pier and to the main street. The bicycle rental and the water refill is a nice plus. The breakfast that's included is basic but nice. Overall the hostel is quite clean, I just think they might make it more clear in the bathrooms (especially in the dorms) that toilet paper never goes into the toilet bowl in Asia, for all the tourists who aren't aware. It happened to me every day to discover toilet paper that didn't get flushed properly because it's not meant to go down there. There is a bin and a sign, but I think it's not clear enough unfortunately :/ But that's more the responsibility of the clients obviously!

Clean hostel, with large rooms each of them with a toilet. Breakfast includes fruits, bread and you can choose between eggs or pancakes. It Is located in front of the beach, and short walking distance from the Port. Staff Is extremely kind, always trying to help you. I absolutely recommend this place.

If you get a room close to the bar it’s very hard to fall asleep until midnight, music is super loud. hot water shower only worked occasionally, ceiling started leaking half way through my stay then they painted over it but it dripped and there were black specks of paint all over the bathroom. wifi was horrible, cut out frequently. Not social in the slightest. Blanket was just a thin sheet.

Spacious room, great breakfast, you can book snorkeling at the front desk for a good price, laundry service: 2kg for 66k, very nicely folded and cleaned well. Very friendly staff. If you get lucky enough to get the balcony bed in each room it’s like your own private room. Ac works well.

You should be prepared for the fact that every evening, from 8 to 12, music plays very loudly.
