Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The location is good and quiet. I like the overall decoration style and bathroom. You can see the stars at night. The experience is very good! The breakfast is very rich, and the staff is also very good! It's really great to live here! I also swam for a while in the morning! I like it!

AustraliaThis place is amazing! 2nd time we have stayed here, so quite and secluded yet only a short walk to the city centre, markets and restaurants. The daily breakfast is delicious and deliverd to your room! There is a mart shop next door for any supplies you may need. The staff are absolutely wonderful, so kind and always making sure you have everything you need.

Ganesh Villa is a beautiful place to spend your time in Ubud. The villa is clean, quiet and has lots of nice greenery. The location is perfect - around 10 min walk into the centre of Ubud. Nyoman was a wonderful host and very accommodating. Breakfast was a welcome perk to our stay here. As a note to anyone who books the “private pool” - this is shared with another 2 person villa - we already saw this in reviews prior to booking so didn’t bother us.

AustraliaIt was quite loud and was advertised to look like it was in the middle of no where although was at the back of a convenience store. The room was also quite small and was advertised as though we’d get a private pool but we didn’t.
The property was so beautiful and the staff were amazing and kind.

AustraliaThe breakfast was nice, but wasn't quite up to the same standard as the rest of the property.
We absolutely loved our stay with the private pool. The villa was very private and we loved the environment. There was a great restaurant only a couple of doors from the property. This was fantastic for when it was raining heavily in the evening. The breakfast was delivered on time every day. Everything was very comfortable and of a high standard, and we would go back in a heartbeat.

TaiwanThe bathroom door couldn’t be locked, it could be a bit dangerous while the wall of the outdoor bathroom is not high enough to prevent strangers from getting in.
The staffs were excellent and really helpful, when we had a Bali belly, they were kind to us and assisted us as much as they could. And the room was lovely and relaxing, it was truly a great night there. Also, the breakfast tasted SO GOOD.

NorwayThe villas is located in a quiet place away from all the buzz from ubud city center. Its a little bit far from all the restaurants and bars. But if you can walk if you would like, but would recommend taking a taxi if you are going to the city center, depending on how far way you are going.
So pretty villa, and it looks extacly like the photos. Maybe even better. The shower was amazing, felt like you where showering in the jungle! The included breakfast was so nice (the banana pancakes was really good), and the staff was so friendly. They even help me with som money transfers, and was so kind!

United KingdomThe pool is small but deep. It’s a little dark inside and in the bathroom area. There are some bug (mostly ants) that can crawl inside because you are surrounded by plants. All these things did not matter to me at all!
Absolutely everything! The villa with the private pool is even better than the pictures. I had such a wonderful time I didn’t wanna leave! It is located really close to the market and the palace. The area is plenty of cute lil restaurants and shops. The place was sparkling clean, breakfast was so well presented, and the host greeted me with a refreshing drink and helped me carry my bags. I 100% recommend this place and would most definitely come back here!!!

AustraliaAs expected, I got bitten by mosquitoes but my partner didn’t (nothing a little bug spray can’t fix). While sleeping we used the drapes around the bed to keep any bugs out, they were mostly outside though! Didn’t see any inside. And the toilet was just a little bit too high for me, I’m 5'4 and once I sat on the toilet I was on my tipy toes, so struggled to do my business properly.
Everything was exactly the same as the pictures! Very clean and spacious. My partner and I LOVED the banana pancakes every morning and the lovely Nyoman that looked after us was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Ubud as it’s very easy to get to the center (3 minute bike ride) but yet far enough so it’s not so busy! There is a circle K and Mart right next to you for any everyday essentials or snacks too
