How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Bathroom wasn’t very clean. Linen had stains, which make you unsure if it’s really clean, too. Shower rarely had hot water. My room was cleaned one day out of the seven I stayed. Doors didn’t block the outside noise at all. Sounded like a motorbike was crossing my room, at times. Really loud.
Bed was comfy, gotta give them that.

you will not sleep at all staying here constant doge howling, motorbikes, you can hear everything. the bathrooms are not the cleanest either and need an upgrade
rooms are small but comfortable enough for a couple nights stay

On my last night,there was some electrical issue in the neighbourhood of this hotel.Entered my hotel at 12am,electricity came at 9.30 am. There was no one from the hotel staff for assistance.
Price is the only thing which drew me towards this property.

The pool which is highlighted was in the very small lobby so just next to it is the kitchen and check in TABLE. It wasn’t clean anyways and had a film of something over it. Also the pictures definitely make the rooms look bigger too. Enough space to get around the bed. The warm or even hot water isn’t often available so be aware if that.
I liked that I could get to a lot of things like a great local warung, a nice laundry mat, a mini cart, with about 30 min from the beach and great views.

Room is unfinished, it's just concrete walls. Quite depressive. During my stay there was an ongoing construction, drilling and loud noises during the day.
Private parking for bikes. Wifi was good.

the toilet was not working, the staff immediately fixed it when it rains the room is leaking in the morning you can hear the loud sounds of vehicle from the road

The rooms have a nice design and smell! Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable! The location is good and the staff is very kind and helpful. Everything was perfect!

The bed still had hairs and dirt from, I suspect, previous guests. I didn't feel comfortable and then, to my horror, saw that there were bed bugs running in the bed. I felt totally uncomfortable and absolutely did not want to sleep in the bed. There was no more staff present (it was already midnight, so I understand, but also no security), so I could not contact them either. I was fairly stressed, because I didn't know where I did have to sleep. I will spare the story what happened after. When I came back the next morning to tell the story, I felt I was not taken seriously. They did not want to give me compensation or accommodate me. After a long conversation and because I showed them the pictures, I got 1 night's compensation. The other nights I was able to stay in another room. But to be very honest, I didn't want to stay in any of their rooms anymore, especially after the conversations I had with them. I decided to leave and I will not come back here again.
The rooms and bathroom where minimalistic and looked clean at first sight.

The room was right by the stairs so wasn’t very private unless you have the curtains closed. The staff also wasn’t there very often and they would knock on my door around 8am to clean the room every morning, which was too early for me to be up - and when I went out, they wouldn’t clean it which was a shame.
Good value for money. Nice comfortable rooms with a relatively well equipped kitchen. There’s also a pool but I didn’t use it. Good Wifi.
