My only suggestion would be to reconsider the 10 AM checkout time. For travelers who arrive early or just need a little extra rest, a slightly later checkout (even by an hour or two) would make a big difference.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The highlight of my stay was without a doubt the landlord lady—she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. In this price the room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable—perfect for both leisure and if you need to get some work done. The location was convenient—close enough to access nearby attractions and dining options, yet peaceful enough to relax after a day out. And I absolutely loved the garden in front of the property! It was such a serene and beautiful space to enjoy my morning coffee or just unwind in the evening.

There’s no hot water in the shower, but honestly, with the tropical heat, a cool shower actually feels better!

Our stay at Ega Homestay was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was incredibly kind, always smiling, and genuinely happy to help, we truly felt at home!!! They offer free water refills, the breakfast was delicious and always served on time, and they helped us organise a snorkelling tour where we were lucky enough to see manta rays, a magical experience! They also rent motorbikes, which made exploring the island really easy. You can tell they put so much love into everything they do, from the food to the way they care for their guests. This place is perfect. If we ever come back to Nusa Penida, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!

Best place we have stayed in the Bali area so far, rooms are huge and the bed is so comfy, walkable to some nice warungs and in a perfect location for exploring the island. Rented motorbikes for a cheap price also. The lady running it was amazing and so friendly and also they have a very cute dog

Location close to the harbour for the ferry. You can rent a scooter directly at the homestay for a good price. The owner arranged for our laundry to be done on the same day as we dropped it off. Also, breakfast was amazing with great service.

Super comfortable beds and large spacious rooms with air con. Everything was sparkling clean. Ega and her family are so nice and helped us organise taxis and snorkelling trips. The breakfast at ega homestay is also wonderful! It’s only a 1 min walk to some nice restaurants and a 5min scooter or taxi to the bigger town where the ferries arrive and where there is many restaurants. Great location if you want to travel around the island to the different beaches.

Be aware there is no hot water, although it is room temperature (not cold).

The owners were very nice and attentive. The rooms are very well sized, bigger than most of the rooms we've been before in this area. And very clean. With very comfy King Size double bed. The hostel is on the main road 5' to center by bike and already at the road direction to the rest of the island attractions (16' Crystal Bay, 40' Kelinking Beach).

Rooms were very spacious, outdoor patio perfect for relax after exploring the Island. The breakfast which was included in the price was simply amazing. Chocolate pancakes were the best I tried in Indonesia! The owners, especially the ladies were so kind and warm and made our stay extra special. They made us feel like home. If you’re thinking about booking this place, don’t think no more and book it, especially If you drive a scooter since the town is just 3min away. 10/10!!

Extraordinarily kind host! Great accommodation 5 minutes from the centre on a scooter. The accommodation is very good and the bed very large and comfortable. The breakfast is good too. In addition to renting scooters directly on palce is a plus! I can only recommend this rental in which I spent 4 nights. Really nothing to complain about.
