How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe were very well received. The staff is very friendly and are always making sure you have everything you need and that you feell confortable. The bedroom is big, confortable and well decorated. Bed is confortable and the pillows were the best in our stay in Indonesia. Breakfast is good also. We think the shared pool area looks bigger in the photos than in reality, but is sufficient and pleasant. The location is perfect, walking distance (5-10min) to all main spots in Canggu but without any fuss. Would recomend 100%.
The bath towels had spots that looked like from being dryed in wooden clothesline - asked to change it which was promptly done, but the new ones had the same problem in less extension. Toilet was smelly but easily solved lowering the toilet lid.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect — just a short walk to the ocean, beach clubs, and nice restaurants for dinner. Everything was sparkling clean and felt brand new. They had really thought of every detail, from drinkable water for brushing teeth to mosquito repellent in the room. The staff were incredibly kind and supportive, always going out of their way to help us, especially with our child. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Bali — absolutely delicious! The pool area was also beautiful and relaxing. We arrived early and they kindly supported us with an early check-in. Highly recommended!

Verified reviewLoved the breakfast style and the flexible hours 7.30 - 17.00 for taking it. A couple more vegan options would be nice. Staff were all super nice and keen to please. Even arranged a change of rooms due to noise from the neighbouring building site. Loved the private pool and we used it every day. Location was a comfortable walk to the beach and many restaurants.

Verified reviewThe staff were all so lovely and welcoming. They really made the place feel like ‘home’ whilst we were in Canggu. The room itself had everything you needed - spacious, bed was comfy, shower was great. They give you three water bottles a day and you can ask them to be refilled during the day if needed. The swimming pool area isn’t massive but there was never anyone around it when we were there so wasn’t an issue! The location is perfect - about 10-15 minute walk from Echo beach and near loads of cafes and restaurants. The breakfast was spot on; you create your own breakfast by picking three things on the menu. All the food was so good too. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to Canggu.

As expected, there was constant motorbike noise at all hours – this is common in Canggu. The staff informed us about this in advance, as it’s beyond their control, and they kindly provided earplugs.

We were not informed in any communication, nor was it mentioned on the listing, that there would be construction happening directly next to our room. The noise was disruptive, running daily from around 8 am to 6:30–7 pm. We understand that construction is common in Bali, but it feels misleading not to notify guests in advance so they can make an informed choice. Unfortunately, my partner also became unwell with nausea and vomiting after ordering food from the Ecozy restaurant. Due to the constant construction noise and concerns about the food, we ended up checking out three days early. We tried to reach out via Booking.com and spoke with reception staff, but received no response online and felt that the staff did not fully understand our concerns, possibly due to a language barrier, though they were friendly throughout.

Verified reviewThe staff are amazing. The room felt very private, tucked away from the road and main facilities. The garden area made it feel even bigger and gave us time to enjoy outdoor space. The pool was gorgeous with lots of lounging options & close to the restaurant if you wanted a snack or drink! The facility was a beautiful mix of modern and green (we had a garden room). The all day breakfast was a standout, the fact that you could sleep in and not worry about a meal time made it even better. The staff even surprised me on my birthday with cake and a beautiful birthday message on our bed! Location is great too (only a km to the beach and La Brisa beach club) and lots of restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes of walking.
Everything was great!! It could be a little noisy by the pool with the local traffic but we barely noticed & that would be the case at any accommodation :)

The amenities weren’t so great - the pool is modestly sized and next to a busy and loud road. Didn’t spend much time here though.
