There’s 2 or 3 mosques close by and they start wailing with amplified speakers at sunset, midnight at 4:45am every day. It echoes up the valley and is quite loud. The resort give you ear plugs but they’re not effective, we used our noise canceling headphones to get some relief.

Beautiful surroundings, amazing staff, very clean, equivalent to 6 star resorts at a fraction of the price. Quiet roads and great local sight seeing. We hired a scooter and found it easy to get around and see everything. Our booking included all breakfasts and dinners and the choices of food were incredible!

I felt that the hot water supply during showers was a bit unstable. At 5 a.m., we were woken up by chanting from either residents or a nearby temple, which made us feel a little uneasy.

We had a wonderful holiday here, experiencing both their yoga classes and massage treatments. We enjoyed the scenic view of the rice fields by the pool and were even lucky enough to see Mount Agung reveal itself. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the daily breakfasts and dinners were both delicious and creative. The service provided by the staff also left a deep impression on us. We truly appreciated the care and service from the staff—their friendly conversations and greetings made us feel warmly welcomed, almost like being among friends. In the near future, we will definitely stay here again.

– Some guests of other accommodations watched a morning ceremony, but we weren’t informed when, despite asking the day before about the ceremony. A little guidance would have been appreciated – unless this ceremony is meant to stay private only for Balinese, which we’d also completely respect. – Food and drink prices are quite high. That would be fine if the quality matched, but much of it was more basic than high-end in our opinion, also regarding Indonesian dishes - compared to what we had in good restaurants in Bali and at the Balinese cooking class we had done before on a farm. (Other guests seemed very happy with it though, so perhaps it’s just a matter of personal taste.) Overall: a beautiful, relaxing place with incredibly kind and caring staff.

The restaurant serves indonesian/italian food. Being Italian, not our favorite. But this is personal taste and not really relevant.

This adult only resort is a dream come true. Far away from the busy and noisy part of Bali, a superbly managed garden with 5 villas and a beautiful infinity pool overlooking rice terraces with an amazing view of the vulcano. Perfect service, excellent facilities, very peaceful.

One thing that stand out in the negative direction is a bad coffee - no matter which one you order. It is a type of Balinese coffee that feels like you drink a volcanic ash. Dinners are ok-ish but not the quality I expect.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel so much, we booked more nights in it. They view is stunning does not matter if it's a daylight or starlight. The villas is cool, modern and comfy, clean with new facilities. The swimming pool and common areas are good. The staff is helpful, kind and supportive. Breakfasts are good and interesting even though maybe not up to the level of the property.

The location was absolutely beautiful! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Tami and the entire staff went above and beyond during our stay. Definitely pay to get breakfast included, it was delicious and a nice way to start our day. Our only regret is not staying longer

Not much to say except for a few minor improvements: - more vegeterian/vegan dishes in the restaurant.

Super nice and friendly staff. They were very forthcoming and helpful in every way, asking how we were doing and giving us advice/recommendations on what to do in the area. The property is relatively new and was in superb condition. Booking the half-fare option was an excellent choice since the restaurant's food was delicious and consisted of a three-course meal. A delightful special greeting from the kitchen always accompanied both dinner and breakfast. For breakfast, they always served fresh juice with different flavors (some tastier, others let's say healthier;))

We already had high expectations based on the pictures but the resort has managed to exceed them in every aspect. Every little corner is beautifully designed and literally looks like straight out of a luxury travel catalogue. It was obvious that lots of effort and care is taken to continuously maintain and clean the property and the little touches like lighting the “candles” and little lights in the room, on the terrace, etc by nighttime, bringing the towels to the pool in 2 minutes whenever you arrived, and so on really made us feel very well looked after. Our booking included half board and the food was fantastic, hands down the best food we had all over Indonesia. We also had massages and they were also amazing. The staff is really nice and go out of their way to accommodate your every wishes.

The food was good - especially the corn fritters, the nasi Goreng and banana fritters- but not marvellous and always rather tepid. Heating the plates would help retain heat as it’s transported from the kitchens. Gin and tonics by the fire were delicious!

I got bitten on my feet by ants a lot while eating at a restaurant. There were a lot of ants on the table where the coffee machine was placed in the room. The bathroom floor was very slippery when taking a shower. I think the check-out time is too early. I think around 11 a.m. would be appropriate, but 10 a.m. was too busy. The food was good for the most part, but on the second evening the restaurant was so crowded that it took a very long time for the food to come out and I wasn't able to finish my meal until late at night. The burger meat and fries were overcooked and hard. Even though I was going to the pool and sitting in front of the bonfire to watch the sunset, the staff kept asking me if I needed a drink, which made me feel uncomfortable because I felt like they were forcing me to order a drink. I am not allowed to drink or eat anything I have prepared separately anywhere other than my room. Only drinks or food ordered at the hotel can be enjoyed outside of the room. The staff were really friendly and helpful, but their kindness was a bit overwhelming for someone who wanted to rest quietly. I had to meet them everywhere and say hello, and even when I was sitting on the terrace of my room, quietly drinking coffee and relaxing, they kept saying hello, so I felt like my rest was being interrupted. But they served me well enough.

I liked the well-maintained garden, clean swimming pool, and clean rooms. The staff were really friendly.

I believe this is one of best stays in Bali, such a beautiful place, amazing desing of the rooms - and you can find there anything you need which was amazing. The staff is extremely lovely, nice and can organise anything for you - they work very hard to make customers satisfied. I loved the idea with texting any requests through whats app, and everything was always dealt with super fast. Also the garden WOW, such a beautiful place, they take care of it so much, everyday i saw someone maintaning plants etc. And the views are amazing. <3

The dinner package was great (we didn’t expect that you can choose every day all the different dishes from the a la carte menu of the nice restaurant.…great!). The view on Mt. Agung was breathtaking, and the reasonably priced tours showed us the real Bali without the crowds. We rent 3 days electric bicycles to go around a fun way to explore the nice area. The room was comfy with nice extras, and a big thanks to the lovely staff the went above and beyond. We highly recommend this resort for a memorable Bali trip don’t forget to get a a real Balinese massage they were the best on the island!

So many things to love about this place. It was so relaxing and such a highlight of our trip. We began the day by waking up to views of Mt Agung. The restaurant was amazing. We spent every afternoon by the pool sipping on cocktails. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Most importantly, the staff go above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for you. Would highly recommend this place if you visit East Bali.
