How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewA very comfortable and stylish hotel. A great restaurant on site too.
A little far from anything in Bedugul so you need a driver to get to the temple or any activities.

Verified reviewThe view from balcony, garden, fish in the pond, table tennis
Breakfast is a bit weird and not much of variety, but there are no other options around. Room is really small.

Verified reviewComfortable clean beds/linen. Wonderful showers. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Table tennis. Fish (carp) pond. Food was excellent.
Thin walls of hotel rooms. We could hear everything our neighbours were doing and saying. Very annoying and frustrating. The music around the grounds and in the restaurant. I would prefer to hear the running water. Or if there had to be music, calming nature music. The bar was poorly stocked and staff weren’t attentive. The steamed veg was rather awful. No wine on offer in restaurant. Suggestion - offer of blankets on an evening as some guests may come unprepared for the cooler weather.

Verified reviewThe hotel Has a beautiful garden , staff was very nice
Sofa has a lot of dirty spots , it needs deep cleaning or changing . First day the towels was with light spots , and with hair , but they change it after we inform them. I think because of less customers in our days time , the breakfast was chosen from the menu it wasn’t buffet , and it took long time around 40 minutes for Omlet and sausage in spite we were alone there no other customers but next day it was faster after we inform them about the delay. There is some me mistakes in the restaurant , but generally the hotel is good and we liked the place and the people who work inside it . I recommend this hotel to stay , all what I mentioned , I think small points might be happened

Verified reviewDusun Bedugul Asri is a beautiful place, easily accessible by car from Denpasar—about a 1.5-hour drive under normal traffic conditions. It’s well located near popular attractions such as Lake Bratan, Bali Botanical Garden, Bali Handara (great for golf lovers), and Bali Farm House, all within easy reach. They offer a wide selection of rooms, which are always clean and well-maintained. There’s also a playground and a small Seed of Life museum, both of which are great for children. One thing to note: booking can be a bit challenging, as the place is often fully booked, especially during holidays. Breakfast is average, but the restaurant menu is excellent, with plenty of tasty options to enjoy. Overall, Dusun Bedugul Asri is a wonderful choice for families looking to relax and explore the Bedugul area.
Could use a more comfy cushiony pillow. :)

Verified reviewA lot of attention and focus on preserving nature and promoting agriculture as the life blood of Indonesian heritage. There’s a mini vineyard, tea plantation, all sorts of fragrant flowers decorating the whole resort.
Walls are thin, should have better sound proofing between rooms and the staircase area at the garden deluxe area.

Verified reviewBeautiful weather, it was 18-22 degrees throughout. Surrounded by nature, farmland and tranquility. The staff was wonderful. They were attentive and took care of guests really well. The rooms are well maintained too. They have this aromatherapy spray for pillows so that you’ll have a good night’s sleep. Gorgeous mountain view as well. The musical fountain every evening is cool too.
The room is quite small, the deluxe garden view. It was quite cramped even for a solo traveller. Walls are thin and you can hear the noises made by people next to your room. I even received Airplay codes while watching TV from another guest’s Iphone! Should have more activities for the guests to occupy themselves with like planting, learning how to grow your own garden, etc.

Verified reviewVilla was very beautiful, staff were excellent, gardens were fantastic, food was very nice.
The villa had a lovely big bath, which my wife was looking forward to using, but they only had enough hot water to fill about 3 inches. If you can't supply the water, don't have the bath just to look good.

Verified reviewThe grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
Room was the lowest price, but nevertheless it was unnecessarily small. The was bowl was in the bedroom. The end of the bed was so close to the wall that we kept kicking it as we walked around it. Next room was very noisy and no soundproofing.

Verified reviewstaff was very friendly and helpful, place was clean, plants were well groomed, buggy was available but waiting can be a problem, The rooms in the villa are quite big,
Rooms of the hotel were small for the price (2.5 m wide), walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors, quite a distance and elevation from the lobby. Water is not clean. Villas didnt have a terrace to sit outside and distance between villas are too short.
